Hey Disney, please get rid of that awful______

I may be in the minority here but I can't stand the dinosaur area in AK that is like a county fair. (Forgot what its called )

YES! This is my vote. I didn't even think of it until you wrote it.

It's so tacky to have carnival games. If I want that I'll go to a boardwalk or a state fair. I'm paying good money to be at WDW and I expect better than I'd see at a country fair.

I read on a thread here that I'd appreciate Dinoland more if I read the backstory behind it. Well, I read the story, and it doesn't change the fact that the Dinosaur carnival area sucks.

DINOSAUR! is OK. The Boneyard is a great idea. But the Dinoland carnival area is just bad. I'm sure kids like Triceratops Spin and maybe some people like that weird roller coaster that spins, but honestly it's a very poor use of that large of a space.

They could've made a family-friendly walking trail with animatronic Dinosaurs to look at. Little kids love dinosaurs. A walking trail would be a huge hit. Much better than Triceratops Spin and carnival games.

My earliest Disney Memory is the dinosaur train at DLR. I rode it when I was 3 years old and it's the only thing I remember from that trip, but man I remember seeing those animatronic dinosaurs fighting. It was awesome (to a 3 year old boy).

Stitch
Lights, Motors, Action
EO
Open spaces at Epcot

I know it's personal preference but I don't get the hate on some of the classics. I've seen the Speedway, Jungle Cruise, and Swiss Family Robinson several times. I'd be quite sad if they dumped these.

Haven't looked thru the thread much, but here's my heave-ho or do-over list, by park:

MK:
- Tomorrowland Speedway. Either modernize it or figure out something else to do with it.

Yeah how about Hybrid cars.

Second the Sugar Rush idea, that would be insane! Thus would shut the ride down for quite some time I would imagine, pretty big refurb.

As others have mentioned:

1) Captain EO
2) Muppets 3D

Those are really the only two that I can think if to completely do away with, there plenty that just need a little sprucing up. I don't mean modernized as that would take away from the Disney charm

I would nix the entire Futureworld in EPCOT--except for Soarin'--they should give it it's own building. I don't think there is anything future or forward thinking at all in this part of EPCOT. I've said it before, this is the 21st century people--technology is speeding along and the Experimental Prototype City of Tomorrow is stuck in the 80s where it began. If the current sponsors can't do anything to make their attractions more appealing and futuristic, then let other companies in--maybe that's the problem, nobody wants in. The 4 Disney theme parks are always at the top of the list for the greatest attendance for parks in the world. Disney must be making some money on these and surely can afford to pump some money into this part of EPCOT. This has been my gripe for a long time--I'm always waiting to hear of something really cool coming to Futureworld--but it never seems to happen. Anyway, just letting off some steam in my general frustration at Disney. I really hope they do a good job with Avatar Land at AK, otherwise, I think more and more people will be spending their time at Universal for real cutting edge.

Stitch ride, Captain EO (actually all rides at Epcot except Test Track and Soarin), Small World (since my husband has to ride it every time we go), Bear Jamboree. . . gosh there's a lot. Put in some good roller coasters.

1) Soarin'. I've never cared for it. Perhaps the most boring attraction in all WDW to me.
2) the entire imagination pavilion, unless they transform it Bach to the original iteration.
3) Swiss Family Treehouse. I stand corrected. THIS is the most boring attraction.
4) Up until a few weeks ago, I would have said all of DHS since it was the most disjointed, non-consistent theme park. However, I'm encouraged by the rumors I hear, and it will get a reprieve on my list for now.

I REALLY wanna see the Speedway re-themed to Sugar Rush from Wreck-It Ralph. Does that count? LOL

Im a little late to this thread....but OMG the best idea ever!!!
This might possibly be biased that my son is in a Wreck it Ralph phase. I watch it like ten times a week.

Diet coke could totally sponsor the Cola mountain as a centerpiece.

What i would get rid of:
Captain EO

And whoever said the mexican boat ride...NO!!!!!! our favorite (who knows why!) :)

Those ugly giant granite slabs in the Epcot Plaza in front of Spaceship Earth. Talk about an eyesore! To me they are worse than the Sorcerer's Hat and that's saying something. Oh and that Monsters Inc Laugh Floor. It reeks!

I REALLY wanna see the Speedway re-themed to Sugar Rush from Wreck-It Ralph. Does that count? LOL

Genius.

And I would give the heave ho to empty space in Epcot as well (can we get more countries or some themed rides from the current countries??

Also, I wouldn't mind if they ditched (and don't lynch me) Space Mountain - or at least updated it a bit. I feel so blasphemous admitting that. It's like the illegitimate child of Rockin' Roller Coaster and Nasa.

And Avatarland (bring back the idea of the villain land!!). I am not a fan of the movie, so I was totally disappointed at that idea/announcement.

Captain EO ... no question. Right there with you OP. Rode it for the first time last year ... wow. The fountains outside were far more entertaining.

Oh Gosh, I love Disney, but there is so much that I would change/get rid of/update if I were in charge.

First off in Magic Kingdom:
I would get rid of the following and replace them with other rides based on things such as Wreck It Ralph or Big Hero 6 or whatever else: Tiki Room, Swiss Family Treehouse, Country Bear Jamboree, Tom Sawyer Island, Frontierland Shootin' Arcade, and Stitch's Great Escape.
I would definitely update the Buzz Lightyear ride; the guns suck (especially in comparison to Woody's ride!)
I would also update Jungle Cruise. I think the animatronics there are the worst in all of Disney World.
I'm not a huge fan of the new carnival set-up in Magic Kingdom either, but maybe that's because it's mostly for meet-and-greets (and I can't stand hugging strangers in Mickey costumes)!

I would remake Hollywood Studios almost entirely. That being said, it's my second favorite park (after Epcot). I love it, but it needs some serious work. Thank goodness they're getting rid of the American Idol thing. I hope they put something awesome there. The toy story and muppets areas are my favorite in the park, and I think all of HS needs to be as exciting as those areas. As you get closer to the Backlot Tour, you REALLY start to feel as if you're walking into the backlot. (This is not a compliment!) I'm not a huge fan of the shows, but that's probably just my personality. Still, sitting in those huge arenas sweating my skin off and straining to hear whatever the tiny, little people on the stage are mumbling through a microphone is not fun. I think Toy Story fit so nicely in HS that I wouldn't mind seeing other PIXAR rides there, you know? If Disney won't put a decent Stitch, Wreck It Ralph, Incredibles, or Ratatouille ride/attraction in Magic Kingdom, why not put it in HS? My family and I talk all the time about how Hollywood Studios should be a mixture of Starwars, Pixar, and Marvel. (Ironman coaster, anyone?)

For Epcot, I just wish they would put something in all those unused pavilions. I also really hate the innovations centers; they'd be nice if there was actually anything to DO inside!! Other than that, Captain EO needs to go. Worst. Thing. Ever. And that's closely followed by the Lion King Circle of Life show or whatever that is. Terrible! (And while I'm at, I just want to say that I really wish they hadn't changed Test Track. I thought the whole test dummy idea was so cool. The Chevrolet blue is pretty and all, but it just feels like riding inside an advertisement. Lame.)

Finally, I don't have much to say about Animal Kingdom. I really dislike the entire park. Zoos aren't my thing, so I can't really have an opinion on a park that is, well, a zoo. All I know is that Avatarland sounds like a huge mistake and a terrible idea. The whole Avatar phase was over in a couple of months; when is the last time you heard anybody praising it? Bad call Disney.

Captain EO.
Tomorrowland Speedway (had a terrible experience with the steering wheel & big waste of a FP).
Mission Space.
CONSTRUCTION EVERYWHERE!

I don't want Journey into Imagination removed. Save Figment and bring Dreamfinder back and have a updated version of the original.

I don't want many things removed but I would like them updated and refreshed.

Disney should give speedway a makeover as electronic/Hybrid cars and put more trees and shade in the area.

FP+ and the dining plan is as close as I get to wanting something removed. But I am realistic enough to know that this will never happen.
