Ok, we tried the middle of October 2006 (really crowded due to HNH), the beginning of November 2004(crowded due to Jersey week?) and the end of October 2003 - My biggest question is for 2007 Would you go:

The week before Thanksgiving?
The week after Thanksgiving?
The week before Christmas?
Two weeks before Christmas?

We are going to stay onsite again, but don't want to deal with the HNH crowds again so September and October are definately out.....even with express, we waited 40 minutes for Jurassic Park, 30 for MIB.

When would you go to have the least crowds possible? (any other timeframes would be accepted into consideration as well!) :cool1:

Two weeks before Christmas or the week before Thanksgiving = best times, imo.

Most of September, November, and January are relatively slow.

This year we had few more people than usual before Christmas. It still wasn't what I would call crowded. But the week before Thanksgiving seemed to be less crowded. My vote would be the week before Thanksgiving.

We've gone two weeks before Christmas and it was wonderful. We still got to do all the Christmas stuff but the crowds were really, really low.

I'd say the week after Thanksgiving or 2 before Christmas......:rolleyes1

I vote for 2 weeks before Christmas. Although if you can do it go 3 weeks before Christmas right at the start of December.

I also vote for 2 weeks before Christmas. You get the benefit of small crowds, while enjoying all of the Christmas festivities.

We were just at the Parks (IOA/US) December 18-22 and I thought it wasn't crowded at all, considering that Christmas was the next week. We didn't wait more than 20 minutes to ride anything :) ! The wait was a lot less than that, for most rides. I was pretty stressed out before we got to town thinking that our week in Orlando was going to suck due to holiday crowds but thankfully my fears were unwarranted, at least at US it was great. We spent one day at the Magic Kingdom/Epcot and by noon MK was very crowded and we didn't get to ride half the rides I'd have liked to. I was disappointed that IOA didn't have Grinchmas going on this year. It was so cool being there before and having all the Whoville characters milling around Suess Landing. I wonder why they didn't do that this year?

First week in May. Think about it, kids are in school. No one is taking time off from work yet, the weather is gorgeous, Spring break is over....come on.

We always go the week After Thanksgiving or the week after that if it is an Early Thanksgiving. (like this year will be)

The first trip to WDW was the first week of Jan. EVERY other time was after Thanksgiving. The crowds are minimal, you can get better deals on Rooms, etc.

If you have never been to the Christmas Party, I STRONGLY encourage you to go. It is so fantastic and my wife loves it! :santa:

They did have the Grinch taking pictures, and had all kinds of not only face characters but also costume characters...in force. But they didnt go really much on Grinchmas because the focus was on the Macy's day parade and all their big new floats, the balloons and 360. Also, there was a space issue. They opened up the new skytrolley this year so that there would be no space for the Grinch's lair...not an official response, but I think that would be the reasoning.

When did you go? We saw that the Grinch was inside one of the shops doing photo ops but I didn't see one single Whoville character and we were there three different days the week before Christmas.
