I've only skimmed the posts here, but I don't remember anyone saying they thought it was genetic.

I think people confuse *genetic* with something you are born with. I have used the word interchangeably not meaning too. I don't believe being homosexual is genetic, but it's far from being something someone chooses.

OK, I will ask you. What do you think the causation of homosexuality is?

People are saying people dont choose their sexuality so isnt the logical extension of that thought process is that people are born that way?

You need to study the law. The age of consent varies from state to state, and some do have ages I would consider young, but virtually all outlaw situations where one person has a significant maturity advantage over the other thereby making them likely to abuse a situation - until all parties are passed the age of majority at which point it's completely up to the consenting ADULT.

Clearly sexual preferences among two CONSENTING HUMAN ADULTS can be acted upon. This, clearly, does not include beastiality (note the human part), or pedophilia (note the adult part). Pedophiles are attracted to children the same way I am attracted to men. This is why they can never be cured and once "outed" as such should be locked up. Abusing animals is also a punishable crime.
