Talking to a guy at work earlier today. He tells me he drank THREE 40 ounce bottles of beer last night in about 2 hours. Then he tells me that he drove "everyone" home. He did say it was about an hour after the last sip of beer.
So, he thought, I guess, that I would be "cool enough" to tell this to. In fact I told him he was a moron! He got angry and then told me he could drive just as well drunk as he can sober.
I have no doubt he drank all that beer. I've seen him do it before. I just never knew that he was driving afterwards.
But, then, I realized, the people who let him drive them home, are just as big of an idiot.
And, the reason I post this is, he isn't the first person I know who seems to be "proud" to drive drunk. I bet I have encountered at least five people of legal age who have openly recounted their drunk driving escapades as if it was some kind of "achievement".
I don't get it at all. Especially from "adults".
Know anybody like this? Do you just ignore them? Do you tell them what you think?
