Mini update #3

Declan and I did some exploring this afternoon in a place he calls the caves. It is a place just up the road from our house.

I'm glad you guys are all okay and that the water is going down now. Stay safe.

So happy to see the water going down.....and Delta did not disappoint :rotfl2:

Too true.:lmao:

Well I wanted my 2000th post to be on my own PT so here it is. declansdad has already given the few updates I would have (this PT is becoming like the remote~I don't get to have it very often:rotfl: )

The next couple of weeks will be busy. I am one of the Drama Coaches at my school and we have a provincial festival next week. (Even when not teaching I'm still there)
Practices are intense to say the least. We are presenting "The Patchwork Girl of Oz" and goodness knows if the students will be ready or not but let's hope so. I can't post any pics of them performing but will let you all know how things progress.:rolleyes1

:yay: Hello Pooksma and Declansdad! Just wanted to jump on board this TR. I'll try to visit when I can, but will be anxiously awaiting your TR!!

I'm glad things are getting back to normal around your area. That had to have been a real mess for everyone. I always worry about little kids during things like that, because watching the water in places it shouldn't be is fascinating to them, but so, so dangerous.

Good luck on your play. Anything like that is always a huge undertaking, with many, many hours behind the scenes that most people who watch the final product never truly comprehend. I'm sure you will be busier than you want to be for the next little while. But, when you are able to really pay attention to it again, your calendar will show that you are a couple of weeks closer to August and your well-deserved fun, relaxing trip!

What she is not telling you is that they run a very successful drama club. They usually win awards every year, including numerous best production, best actor/actress, and even best director a few times.

(can you tell that I am quite proud of my dw, the director)

90 days to go for you guys and 91 for us. Just thought I'd let you know. :rotfl:

All this school talk is making me really want summer to get here soon. I think I look forward to them being out of school almost as much as they do.

By the way, staying on the GA theme, I lived in GA during two tours at Robins AFB (dad was in Air Force) when I was a kid. Are you near there?

I'm smack dab in it. Not on base but in the city.

Please....I will be easy to take a long ....all I bring is 3 kids...and a dawg!!!!

disneydad :lmao:

I would prefer a gator, not a dawg;)

Congrats on the less than 90 days! I just love countdowns

"Hi, my name is pooksma, and it has been 24 hours since my last post."

Sleeping in this morning, are we???

I've already washed a sinkful of dishes and gone shopping.
I should have stuck with just washing dishes.
I've spent $280 dollars between groceries and new tennis shoes and capris for the trip. I really needed another pair of tennis shoes. One pair for ten days doesn't work so well. They need time to air out, cool off, and take a rest!
I also got Brooklynn as few things for our Princess Mother's Day meal tomorrow. I'll put pictures up tomorrow, most likely, so check in over there to see the little 'pincess' in action. She always leaves out the r.

Have a good Saturday...whenever you wake up.

By the way, in case this was on your mind first thing this morning: According to our counter, we're at 48 days, 20 hours, and 29 minutes until blast-off! That's sounding good to me!!!

Loving the 90 days pictures... can you do some more at 80? 70? 60?;)
