Hertz used to be in Orlando Airport, but now they have neither counters nor cars in the airport.
In the old days, you would first get in line at the Hertz counter. Then you would walk across the street into the lower level of the parking structure. It could be a long walk past many rows of cars, including those belonging to other car rental companies.
Now you just go to the curb outside of baggage claim and get on a Hertz bus. They come every few minutes because Orlando is a busy airport. The ride to the Hertz lot is about 5 minutes. If you're a Gold member, you're dropped off at the Gold information board which tells you where your car is parked. The paperwork is right in your car. No lines. (I believe you also get this service if you rent from the Hertz Prestige Collection.) If you're not a Gold member, there's a counter on the lot, and your car should be nearby.
I like the current "off airport" service better than the old "on airport" service. I always use Hertz in Orlando.
