Hertz at Disney World

Hi!

I have a quick question. Is there a Hertz location onsite in WDW? And if there is, is there transportation to it? I just reserved a car for my trip in January using WDW as the pick-up location, but then realized I don't know where that would be!

Any experiences and/or knowledge with this!

Hertz is off Semoran Blvd, about a 7 minute shuttle bus ride from the airport. You pick up the bus on the rental car level of MCO, busses run every 5 minutes or so.

It would help if I was coming from the airport, but I will be on property already. My last couple of days in Florida will be spent visiting friends and family elsewhere. If not, I would skip this whole car rental thing. I am all for staying onsite the entire time I am there!!

I thought that I read that the car rental agencies were at the car care center, which was doable on WDW transportation. Anyone know? I searched but didn't have the right combo of words.

National/Alamo is at the car care centre.

There is a Hertz at the Marriott Village Little Lake Bryan, off I-4 and 535. The Hertz website also shows one at the Hyatt Grand Cypress, but Hertz customer service doesn't list it, so I can't confirm that one.

There are also a number of agencies in the Hotel Plaza Blvd area - Dollar was at the Holiday Inn, Avis at the Hilton and Budget at the Doubletree.

There is also a Hertz local edition in Kissimmee and also a rental location at Champions Gate. Your reservation should have an address. The Hertz local edition offices will bring the car to you. You need to make arrangements for this.

Thanks bavaria and safetymom! I feel a bit more informed now. I will call Hertz and see if they can arrange to pick me up...I might need to change my pickup time then. Hm.

When I looked on the Hertz site, I also found Buena Vista Suites and Caribe Rotale listed. Those are both on World Drive near DTD.
