I have been to Hersheypark many times but I've never purchased the food vouchers. Are they worth it? Also, has anyone ever tried to use a coupon or gift card in the Dunkin' Donuts inside the park? I have a free medium drink coupon for my Birthday as well as a $10GC I would like to use. Thanks in advance...

The meal deals are very much worth it. Hersheypark food has gotten ridiculously expensive! We were there 2 weeks ago and it was $7.99 for chicken fingers, another $4 for the fries. The meal deal is 2 combos w/drinks, 2 snacks and a souvie mug for $29. The mug was $8 by itself.

To find out if you can use the coupons (which I highly doubt), call 717-534-8900. They can connect you to the store (or call foods and beverages and find out).

Totally forgot - there's a Dunkin Donuts behind the park now too. If you've been there many times, you probably know where the Outlets are and Wendy's? It's on that corner.

Oh...now i am confused, LOL..The meal voucher i read about is $13 and includes a souvineer mug w/beverage, sandwich/burger/hotdog with fries or an entree at the restaurants listed on the site...
Thanks for the heads up on DD..I do remember the one outside the park...perhaps we'll hit that one on the way to the park in the AM. Thanks!!

All of the food at HersheyPark is terrible, IMO. I hate eating there. I can never find anything remotely edible. It's my least favorite park as a result.

I would definetly leave for a few hours in the afternoon and get lunch offsite. There are tons of places to eat that are better than their overpriced food that is pretty awful.

I left to eat offsite, but we also ate at Nathans inside the park. It was PRICEY!!! But if you've had Nathans and like it then you'll be happy with the quality, as the same at any other Nathans I have been too.

I would imagine the DD do take the coupons, aren't they a separate business form HP? I'd do what the pp suggested and call

Sorry to confuse you. There are two meal deals, one for $13 and one for $29. The $13 is one meal and the mug and the other one is two meals, a mug and two snacks. So it's up to you on how much you think you'll need.

There are restaurants down the street - the usual fast food places (MdDs, Wendys, KFC), Bob Evans, Panera, Applebees.

Go on to yelp dot com and search for Hummelstown 17036.
Support the local economy.

I would suggest the Soda Jerk on the East End of Hummelstown.

Funck's restaurant is just down the street. It's excellent home cooked typed food. We eat there every year, sometimes twice. :)

I don't like to leave the park to eat. Takes to much time. We have season passes and go every 2-3 weeks. The 3 of us can eat for under $30 and be full.

My DD9 and I can split a chicken finger combo meal. You get 4 big pieces.

The meal deal is a good price = $13. That mug can get refilled for the whole season for only $0.99. If you have a prior season mug refill price is $1.69.

My DH loves the burgers. You put your own topping on. We always take extra pickles for DD to eat. We eat at Decades near the boardwalk and the food near where they take the Old Tyme Photos (this place also sells a great chocolate funnel cake).

Here's some coupons for chocolate world. They have the best milkshakes.
