Hershey Park

I'm going to Hershey on Thursday. We usually eat in the food court in Chocolate World. We find they have a nice variety and it has a nice selection of healthier options as well. We find the prices to be on the average-slightly higher than average side and the food pretty tasty.

Inside the park we like to eat at the Mixed Grill located at the outside food court by the Sidewinder. I think there is a good variety there - wraps, panini, gyros, pasta, pizza, salads, etc. There is also a Mixed Grill Express over by the Kissing Tower. I think they offer many of the same things but the options may not be as many.

Candy despite it being made nearby is not cheaper at Hersheypark. It is cheaper in stores and even more so when it's on sale. Many have the misconception that because it is made near there that it is going to be cheaper.
Yes once in a blue moon they offer a sale on items that are getting older but that is far between.

As far as sneaking food in that is going to depend on how well they check your bags. Some make you take almost everything out while others barely glance. Much like Disney. I know if they see it and you don't have small kids with you they make you either eat it or throw it out before entering. My sister had to throw out a pack of cupcakes unopened while I was able to go right in with drinks and snacks for my kids. So beware that it can and does happen.

The last time we priced subway in the park a 6 inch was around the price of a footlong outside of the park. They only sold 6 inches. With prices like that is why I recommend the meal plan or packing a lunch.
