To everyone who spreads PD to our children with pre-cruise postcards:
My children received their post card a couple of months ago and it has been posted on our refrigerator ever since - even through a move. They look at it every day and practice hollering "tick tock" to scare Captain Hook, who is leading the children on CC. (Thank you DeeAnn).
I don't usually follow this thread but I decided to read it today and I am astounded at how hard you all work to send post cards to so many children. I had some other thoughts too.
This cruise is a vacation of a lifetime for my family as I am sure it is for many others. We are spending a lot of money. We are spending a lot of time planning and stressing that every moment is perfect.
When my children received their post card from Minnie and Mickey, I knew it would all be worth it. They don't know about the money and the details, all they know is they are going to a magical place where Mickey and Minnie are waiting for them. The look in their eyes was priceless.
You people are the ones who make that bit of magic happen for our children. For that, I want to thank you. Thank you too for opening my eyes a bit. In the midst of the calls to the
travel agent and the hours spent planning this trip down to the most minute detail, I had forgotten what this trip is all about - the magic.
If there is anything I can do to help you spread the magic even further, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will pick up some extra postcards on our cruise. Please let me know where to send them.
