My kids just received their postcard. That was so nice of you. She couldn't believe she got a postcard from Minnie and Mickey. May I say that your Mickey and Minnie signature are right on the money. How long did it take to practice that? Thanks again for helping them get even more excited for our upcoming trip.

I have a postcard in front of me that a fellow DIS'er had signed from Mickey and Minnie when she was at DL. I keep it sitting here in front of me for reference. I also have a photo of Nate's pillow case that was signed by a lot of the Disney characters, I also use that for reference. I'm getting pretty good at copying the signatures, LOL!!! I'm glad your kids enjoyed their postcard.

Hi! I'd like to request a post card for my boys (age 5&3).
Mickey & Minnie or Peter Pan & Hook would be great. They won't notice postmarks, but may notice the signature.

We are leaving 3/12 - I hope to put off telling them until about 2/12, so sometime around then would be great. (I hope I'm not being too picky!)

I'll be more than happy to bring back postcards and pixie dust to return the favor on this board!

I just wanted to thank you for your generosity and the time you devote to this board. By my quick count you must have sent out about 50 postcards so far! You sure have done your part to brighten the day for many children.

We don't cruise until August but I'll have to make sure to pick up a bunch of postcards!

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the kind words, but believe it or not it has been more than 150 postcards that have been sent out, I've lost count. We get a lot of requests by PM and e-mail that don't show up on this thread. Plus there are a few other DIS'ers that have also been getting requests and they have been sending out postcards as well. Yes and thanks, any postcards that you can pick up would be greatly appreciated!!!

This is my problem! DeeAnn sent out my son a post card when we were going on the 4 night cruise......OK!! My wife talked me into the 7 night Western cruise......PROBLEM!!
My 8 year old is all upset, now he thinks that MICKEY won't know that he switched ships!! He is afraid that he won't see mickey Mouse....I have over, and over agin tried to tell him, but he keeps saying Mickey won't find him!!
PLEASE...can anyone send him another post card, and make not about the 7 night cruise?????

You are all amazing!!!! I've only been a member of these boards for a few months, and I am blown away by the kindness and generosity of spirit exhibited here. Thank you so much!

We are taking our first cruise with our 7 yr old DD on 2/28/04 on the Western Magic. It's all DD has talked about for weeks now - she is so excited that her Grade 2 teacher is letting her do "research" on the places she'll visit during regular school hours!

As an avid character lover and autograph collector, she would be ecstatic to receive a postcard from a Princess, Minnie, or Mickey before we leave. Is there a problem requesting this to be sent to Canada? Let me know ... thanks again; you all rock!

To everyone who spreads PD to our children with pre-cruise postcards:

My children received their post card a couple of months ago and it has been posted on our refrigerator ever since - even through a move. They look at it every day and practice hollering "tick tock" to scare Captain Hook, who is leading the children on CC. (Thank you DeeAnn).

I don't usually follow this thread but I decided to read it today and I am astounded at how hard you all work to send post cards to so many children. I had some other thoughts too.

This cruise is a vacation of a lifetime for my family as I am sure it is for many others. We are spending a lot of money. We are spending a lot of time planning and stressing that every moment is perfect.

When my children received their post card from Minnie and Mickey, I knew it would all be worth it. They don't know about the money and the details, all they know is they are going to a magical place where Mickey and Minnie are waiting for them. The look in their eyes was priceless.

You people are the ones who make that bit of magic happen for our children. For that, I want to thank you. Thank you too for opening my eyes a bit. In the midst of the calls to the travel agent and the hours spent planning this trip down to the most minute detail, I had forgotten what this trip is all about - the magic.

If there is anything I can do to help you spread the magic even further, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will pick up some extra postcards on our cruise. Please let me know where to send them.

Hi, my two DD's ages 3 and 4 1/2 will be setting sail on the Sep 2005 cruise. If anyone is so inclined could we get a princess postcard for each of them? I am sorry if this seems greedy but we wanted to so separate books to mark their journey...so they each have one forever. I would really appreciate it. How do we go about this?
