We're cruising on the Magic, April 1-8th. My 5 year old daugher has begun drawing pictures and "mailing" them to the cruise ship. (She actually gives them to our mail lady who slips them back to me the next day ).

When I asked her who she thought was going to read them,she said "the baker man - I want to know if he can make me a butterscotch milkshake!".

So.... if anyone out there has a post card with any kind of culinary theme I'd love it if they would respond to her. If not, a post card with just a picture of the ship would work too. PM me and I'll give you more details.

She is the sweetest kid. I'd love to do this for her. It will really make the trip more special. Thanks in advance for your help!

I don't have any postcards with a culinary theme, but I do have postcards of Mickey and Minnie looking at the ship that is quite nice. If you still need this request filled feel free to send me a PM with the needed info and I will have a DCL postcard on the way over the weekend.

This is pobably a dumb question, but are the post cards supposed to be for the kids before they take the cruise or after they return home?????
We are going on our first in July, on the Magic. either way I would love to send postcards for others. I am sure my kids would love to receive, I am just confused on the timing

The postcards are sent to those waiting to take their cruise, it adds to the excitement of waiting for the cruise.

Oh this sounds so fun. I'd love it if someone can send one to my son. He's only 18 months now, but he loves mail! We're sailing on the 4/20/06 Wonder. If someone would be nice enough to send him a card, I'd truly appreciate it.

I would love to suprise my grandchildren (who will be cruising with me on the Wonder April 23, 2006) with a postcard. Could someone tell me how to send the needed information (and exactly what all information is needed)? Please do not use abbreviations as I do not know what they mean. This is our first cruise - will probably be our only cruise in our lifetime so I want to make this as memorable as I can.

If anybody still needs a request filled feel free to send me a PM (Private Message) with the child's name and mailing address, also please let me know if you will be sailing on the Magic or Wonder, and at least the month of your cruise. I like to add as much info to the DCL postcard as I can. You can also add the favorite name of your child's Disney characters if you like.
