Here's the best place to meet characters

We just returned from our Disney trip, here's a tip - if you want to meet characters GO TO EPCOT!!

Just past the golf ball is a character greeting zone that is open from 9-5 and was almost never crowded. We met Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale, Donald, Figment, Gideon, Mr. Smee, Pinochio, and Robin Hood. The characters varied a bit, the first six were always there.

Was Figment there???? He has been on sabbatical, and rumored to return in April. That would be awesome if he is back.

Yeah, we noticed that on our LAST day there ON OUR WAY OUT OF THE PARK!!! GRRRR. I was so upset when I heard someone say they met like a dozen characters in that area.

If I remember correctly, that used to be an attraction, maybe house of the future.

I actually like the central location greeting, as opposed to hunting for those rare spots in the back alleys.

Okay..I have never seen this...please explain EXACTLY where, if possible...DH and I were just there and I missed it

It is just past the Innoventions West pavilion. It is called Character Connection. They also take PhotoPass pictures of you with the main characters. The others rotate. My DD also saw Max and Gideon. There is another one that I can't remember. We stopped by on our way out and in because the extra characters change.

Oh ! We have never seen Figment before. Is this something that just started ? We will need to look for Figment in May !

It is kind of behind the fountainview coffe shop the area it is in is an old CS restaurant that has not been used in serveral years.

We went there on two different days, Figment was there once. There is a "main area" that always has mickey, donald, goofy, pluto, and minnie. Outside of that area the characters varied each day.

He's the star of the ride "journey to immagination" in Epcot which our kids just LOVED.

yes in innoventions west - it is called character connections - the main characters are kind of in a square for meets and when you leave in the hallway there sometimes is another character - i saw pinochio (but didn't go up to him and i saw him the day before)
i returned there a couple of hours later and saw figment - i was delighted as when i come off the figment ride a cm told me that figment wouldn't be doing any meets.
i met him in the late afternoon, last wednesday.
