Did you have to wait in line for your pic taken? or were the photographers readily available?

I was blown away by the LACK of crowds.

The last time we went was the summer of 2003, June-ish. Hwy 192 was bumper to bumper. Traffic in & out of WDW was horrendous. The parks were crowded. We had a fantastic time, don't get me wrong.

This time we went May 2-16. I kept wondering where the cars were on 192. Traffic was very sparse. The crowd at WDW was, well, crowd isn't the right word. There wasn't really a crowd.

The weather was comfortable and we walked on to most everything we wanted to do, rides and shows.

I was worried because lots of folks thought the park would be extra busy due to the 50th celebration. But we found a new time we'll be vacationing at WDW -- early May right before school gets out.

So, to answer your question, we were able to walk up to photographers and have our pictures taken. Sometimes they had a family already, sometimes they didn't. But it takes less than a minute to take 2 or 3 shots.

I wish I would've used PhotoPass more, but I took over 460 pictures and 27 movies on my own.
