Heres my reservations... Thoughts?

I have made all of our dining reservations for our trip 11/28-12/5 and I wanted some input in case I am missing something here, so I would LOVE your thoughts! My kids are going to be 5 and 3 1/2 when we go! We do have the park hopper and plan to have a rest / down time each afternoon... Parks from open til about 2 then some quiet time at the hotel... the back to the parks I tried to plan our days around who is open latest...

11/28 : MK morning, 50's Prime Time @ 4:20 and HS that evening

11/29 : AK morning, 1900 Park Fare @ 4:30 and MK that evening (open til midnight)

11/30 : Ohana @ 9:30, MK or Epcot all day, (all parks are closed early so will be an early night)

12/1 : Hollywood and Vine @ 9:30, HS morning, AK evening

12/2 : Crystal Palace @ 9:30, MK morning HS eveing hoping to see Fantasmic

12/3 : Whatever park in the morning, Akershus @ 6:40, Epcot all evening

12/4 : Whatever in the morning, The Plaza Resturant @ 4:55 MK evening

Thoughts?

On 11/28 and 11/29 you have 2 really early dinners booked. If you are leaving a park at 2:00 to go back to your hotel for a break I'm not sure how much down time you are going to have before you need to be at HS for a 4:20 ADR or to Park Fare (unless you are staying at the Grand Floridian or on the monorail) by 4:30?

Everything else looks awesome

Is the Christmas parade being filmed in MK on 12/4? Is that why you have the plaza restaurant booked for evening?

I agree with the above op. Your dinners are really early and if you want down time you may want to consider changing them to a 6pm or something close. Just a thought. Other than that you have most of my favs except Chef Mickeys! Have a great trip!

I'm actually right behind your week (Dec 8-15) and planning the same thing with DS3. The last trip we had he was only 16mos. old and afternoon naps were a MUST plus it was in the middle of August heat. Luckily we were staying at BCV so moving back & forth was easy. I think it all depends on where you're staying.
So, I agree with the pp...ADR's would probably be better if you moved them a bit later around 5:30ish-6:30ish. It gives you time to get to your reservation and enjoy the evening afterwards w/o being in a hurry. Oh, the most important thing....Happy Well-rested kids!

We've done early dinners like that, with an afternoon break. If you're getting to parks at rope drop, or early EMH, you can be leaving the park at 11 or 11:30 for lunch back at the resort & a break. It works, we've done it many times.

Lots of good choices, EXCEPT, unless you absolutely have to see those characters at Hollywood & Vine, I'd dump that breakfast. Had a mediocre breakfast with terrible service in May 2010. Very limited variety on the buffet, too, yet they charge $5 more per adult than other breakfast buffets

for 12/1... unless there is something I don't know about...you have AK as the 'evening' park. AK usually closes early.... even with EMH... by 8p....

Not sure why you hop around but I suppose it has something to do with kiddos needing a nap....so why not pay extra and hop around?

Thanks guys! Yeah hopping around works since they will have some quiet time... I did not think of the 4:30 times... MAy have to see if I can change that! I have no clue if the parade is being filmed then, I will have to check it out!! That would be AWESOME though! If I looked at the times right, I think AK is open the latest that day (at 8) I think everything else is closed at 7! Must check now We did not really care for Holly wood and Vine either, BUT they are dying to see Manny... lol
