We're staying at the Radisson Parkway. They have a shuttle to Main Gate (is that DD?)

Let's say we get to the Animal Kingdom and want to go to Epcot. In the past we've always stayed on property and went back to the resort for a break before going on to another park so I've never paid attention to other buses at the parks. Can you get from one park to another directly or do you have to go to a resort to get another bus?

The Radisson shuttle runs only once an hour, from my understanding and I don't want to waste a lot of time waiting arounbd on transportation. We will not be renting a car.

All four of the theme parks offer transportation between them. Between MK and Epcot you can take the monorail. Between Epcot and MGM you can walk, take a watershuttle, or bus. Between MK and MGM you can go via Epcot, or take a bus. Between any of the other parks and AK you can take a bus.

The "Main Gate" that they are referring to is probably the Transportation and Ticket Center, which is also the Magic Kingdom car and bus parking. (On a sidenote, PLEASE remember what bus lane your shuttle uses)

Although it is frowned upon by Disney (towards the bus operators, not the guests), a lot of shuttles will drop off at the TTC, and direct the guests to use Disney Transportation to get to the parks, rather than going to each park as they should. This does tend to back up some of the lines, and make it more difficult for those who are legitimatly park hopping.

Bus transportation is provided from the TTC to Disney-MGM Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Monorail service is provided to Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Bus transportation is provided from the front gates of Epcot to Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney-MGM Studios. The monorail services the TTC/MK. In addition, there is a boat in the International Gateway that runs to the Disney-MGM Studios.

Bus transportation is provided from the Disney-MGM Studios to the TTC, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Epcot. Boat transportation is also provided to the World Showcase of Epcot.

It should be noted that Park to Park transportation runs every 15-20 minutes, and is on a set schedule. These busses are not part of Magic On Demand, Flex Dispatch, or whatnot.

The Magic Kingdom does not have any direct park to park busses. One must connect at the Transportation and Ticket Center.

Another thing to note... for Downtown Disney... the only park that has a bus to DTD is the Disney-MGM Studios. Between 3pm and park closing, they will run a ONE WAY bus from the Studios to Pleasure Island. This bus is limited in service, and one way only. From Downtown Disney, there are NO busses to any theme park. Just Disney Resorts.
