Here we go again...

DH just gave me the green light to go back to WDW!! Let the planning begin. We are looking at Dec. 17-24. Am I nuts to go that close to Christmas?? We went the first week of Dec. last year and loved it. Now comes trying to decide where to stay. ASMo is a possibility but maybe we would like something a LITTLE nicer. Any suggestions for anything would be appreciated. Can you help?

Well, since that's when I will be there, I must say that you're completely nuts and you should stay away! Leave more room in the MK for me!

(Seriously, it should be a great time... crowds aren't expected to pick up until the 23rd/24th, which is what happened last year.)

Do you really want to go back during Xmas eve? Why not stay the extra night or two? (or move up the dates)...I just figured Eve is when there's a lot of traveling done, and im sure you can do without it.

Personally, I'd like to do a Christmas at the Boardwalk Inn...soooooo pretty during that time!

No, I'm no sure, but I just figured with the hordes of people that are going to be at the parks those days it wouldn't be very much fun anyway. Yes it would be nice to be there for Christmas day, but it would be nice to be home too. I guess that is still up in the air. The important thing is, WE ARE GOING!

We did Dec 10-15th, and it was *AWESOME*...beautiful weather, NO crowds, holiday decorations were up...If you want to avoid the crowds, go earlier, if you want to do the Christmas thing, then stay for it! But youre right, either way youre going and youre gonna have A LOT OF FUN! wheeeeeeeee!
