Here we go again!

Well folks..we are booked again.. on a whim Friday we decided to use a windfall to head back to Disney.. originally planned for Sept 2015 but odds were we would have to cancel that because 1 if not 2 of my kids will likely be in SCHOOL for the first time ever. So I called, switched our reservations to Jan 19-27 ASSports..with the Stay play and dine upgraded dining..all dining ressies have been made , flights booked ( $96 each way baby) and the kids have NO idea!! They will be shocked because we cancelled the Sept 2014 trip and they knew we would be cancelling the Sept 2015 one. This is going to be their main Christmas gift!!!

Okay I just went online and submitted our DME info on the site.. of course I have 2 rooms and put Jadziah on both so I had to resubmit..lol..but hopefully it all works out..lol

I am in the very early planning stages of our next trip...in December 2015!!! The last time we were there was when we ran into you.

So much has changed that I have made a point of being on here soaking up all the info...used to think I was somewhat of a know it all about Disney vacation planning and now I feel so out of it! Plus I now have 5 in my changed up family rather than 4 so it's a whole new ball game for me!

I could never suprise the kids, I couldn't hold that secret that long!

Okay..so its 50 days until the kids find out we are going.. this is going to be beyond super hard to keep a secret!! Anyone have any good Christmas day reveal ideas??

The year we went in April we gave the kids a gift on Christmas that was labled to both of them. It was a clue to start a scavanger hunt and the end was a scrap book with papers and such with all blank pages execpt for the first page which I had typed up the first page of the scrap book detailing who this all occurred and essentially what this book was for. As they read it, they got it...

70 days out... can do FP+ and online check in in 10 days... so far I havent screwed up and let the cat out of the bag...

Grr..so our flight price went down $26 a person..got my $156 credit..was going to change to come in a day earlier now but there is NO availability at ANY value for that night... this sucks!

Well I did online check in for one reservation and when I go to do it for the other all it does is bring up the one I already checked in for..grrr..tried changing internet browsers and even devices...oh well.

That sounds like such a great deal for both Disney and the flights!! We are going to be there for partially the same time. We arrive 18th-23rd January, just before our cruise.

Alrighty. We are officially coming in the 18th v the 19th. We booked 3 nights at a suite at music then called and cancelled the 2 nights we didn't want ( only way to get a room grr) then I had to call Southwest and have them split our confirmation into 6 in order to be able to apply all our flight credits. Took some time but the CS rep was amazing ( this is why I love SW). Now I will stalk the website and hope an earlier flight does a price drop!

We managed to keep the secret and pull off a great surprise. Since Thanksgiving ( when we started putting wrapped gifts under the tree) I have been telling the kids they are getting one gift to share.. and that half the packages were boxes with just paper in them..they would get so mad..but alas I wasnt kidding

So here's the video.. notice Taejan gets mad because he realizes there really is nothing in the box but paper and dads weights .. and Jadziah reads it and realizes what the paper says and gets excited first..and then Declan hates me because I've kept this a secret for 66 days! The rest of the morning consisted of them opening the reservation papers for each of their favorite restaurants and of course we told them we were driving...then Taejan ( my little future pilot) opened up the Southwest reservation and that was a tears of happiness from him! Best Christmas surprise ever!!

I saw your picture on Instagram and figured I would look to see if you had started a trip report. We are going in August, but right now it looks like it will only be my daughter and I. My husband is going to stay home and do some projects around the house. As much as I am going to miss him not being there I am really looking forward to a mother daughter trip.

The video was great and I love the fact that you were able to keep the secret.
