So I was originally on the February 2012 thread, then I moved to the Holidays 2011 thread, then we planned to move to Summer 2012, then I dropped off.......Now I'm Back! :rotfl2:

We were hoping to take a trip to DL this year as a family; it had been two years and two of our kids were in or headed to high school. Due to a millions things going wrong (some good- hubbys new job and some bad) we had to rescheduled and cancel more times than I can count. So with Springbreak on the horizon I have decided to be brave and take my two youngest solo (hubs has to work and my oldest has some things going on). My DD wants to do San Diego; she said she would rather go there than any place on earth. My DS wants to see Mickey; he was promised Mickey and like mommy loves DL more than anything. So let the planning begin.

Found some great rates from Sac into Long Beach; still watching rates into LAX, Orange County, and San Diego. My brother-n-law can get military discounted tickets so good there. Just need to get a game plan together. We are planning on doing Disney, the Wild Animal Park, Zoo and Sea World for sure. Legoland and the beach are on the maybe list. We have been to DL plenty of times so this is going to be a quick one or two day trip. The original plan was to arrive on 4/7 or 4/8; start with DL and head our way down the coast. I didn’t realize that was Easter Day thou. I fully know what to expect from Springbreak crowds BUT not actually arriving on Easter itself. THOUGHTS?? We could possibly reverse our route and start with the Zoo or arrive mid-week after Easter and stay into the weekend after.

Either way; I am super excited. Other than catching the cruise ship, never have been to San Diego. I think it will be some great mommy bonding time!! Going to buy tickets ASAP before something changes again!:dance3:

SWA had tickets to Orange County for $69 this morning!!! So we are all booked. Arriving April 6th and staying one week. Afraid Easter will be a bad day to visit Disney so going to start the trip in San Diego and end the trip with The Mouse. Can't wait!! Been on spring break before but not Easter weekend.
