Here now...well, almost!

Well, we have made it to Orlando. We're staying off-site for tonight. We left home at 5:30 a.m. central time, drove all day. We made it to town about 7 eastern time. It's a super nice night, not too warm, with a light breeze; doesn't feel like much humidity!

The plan is to be at rope drop tomorrow morning at Animal Kingdom. After we play all day, we'll drive to POR and check in. Although, I think I may check in tonight online.

I am planning on doing the pick a pearl in Japan on our Dec trip. I'm hoping to get an idea of the settings available. If you get over that way could you take a pic. of the setting choices/prices so I know what to expect. If not I understand...if you can...thank you so much!

We are here at the Pop right now. On our first day, we did the Pick a Pearl in Downtown Disney. It was $16 for the oyster and the setting ran between $28 and $32 I believe. We ended up spending about $50 total per pearl. We are hoping to go to the Boardwalk today and do it again. Just have to figure out how to get there.

Were those pendants? Do they have other types...rings, earrings etc.

The were just for the little loop pendent that you could use to put it on a chain. They had the cage you could put the pearl in but those cost a little more. When I asked about earrings they said they normally don't suggest you do them because the pearls are all different. Maybe if you can be lucky enough to find 2 pearls that are the same color and size they would do it. I am not sure about ring settings but I would imagine they would have something but it may be expensive too.
