Here now. Anyone know what's up w the ppl mover? It's been down all day. I was planning on taking my 3yo on it (repeatedly) so my DH could take our 10yo and 6 yo on the "big" rides.
Hmm...it finally opened about 4:30 or so and seemed to work fine. There was a huge line of ppl waiting to get in it - I don't think I've ever seen a line like it before for this ride.
DS6 and I were stuck on it for 26 minutes during MNSSHP back in September. We were in Space Mountain but in that section between the Mr. Tom Morrow part and then when you come out in the open Space Mountain part. Fortunately they turned the lights on after about 8 minutes but it was D-A-R-K before that.
Very little announcements, other than stay seated. At some point a CM came by and said two boys jumped on the track and they have to walk the entire track before restarting. She was in no mood to hurry it seemed.
We had a good laugh about it, but it was a little too long for my liking, especially during valuable party time. .
DS is NEVER going to ever go on SM after nearly 30 minutes of listening to the non stop screams!!!
The intermittent stops and starts with People Mover seem to be a thing lately. It's like roulette: Will it be working when we get in line? Will the ramp function? Can we go thru the ride without it stopping? We still love doing it anyway, especially since we sometimes get a good look at Space Mountain with the lights on!
