Here now...new test track

The design stations have a time limit so that should help keep things moving. Rode yesterday and did that fast pass line so can't tell about the stand by line but think the design for fast pass may be less than for regular line. When you get to the actual cars you just tap the RFID card against a lighted disc once the car in front of yours starts to pull away so it really doesn't slow anything down there. By the time your car pulls up the info is already put in. We didn't stop to try out the games in the showroom area but it looked like a lot of people were having a good time. We had fast passes for 11:55-12:55 but it was down at that point so they said we could just return later. We finally made it back there about 4 and made it through in about 20-30 minutes total time.

Single riders line takes only as long as your feet take to walk to the front... With a car that is made for groups of 3, it always needs singles. My friends and I went through 3 times on single as quickly as we wanted.

The cars only fit 3 now instead of six?

Still 6, but only 3 max can design a car because only 3 can fit on a single row. It is because of the way the rfid works

If I'm not mistaken, you can walk right past the design stations and into the line. But this gives you a little something to do amidst the wait.

The doors are closed so you can't

I got a chance to ride Test Track 2, and I hated it. Everything feels so cheap - just a bunch of lights and screens now, it really takes the fun out of testing .

I do tend to agree with this

I just watched the video of it and I am soooo torn. While it looks really neat, I loved the story of the old one. I still cant wait to see it in person though because I may change my mind. I am a woman you know, we tend to change our minds a lot. ;)

I got to ride it. Still a great ride. However I have to admit I like the original. I know it's a soft opening. I stood in line for 25 minutes, and they shut it down and I had to return. Got on the second time. Not all of the program machines worked and the scanners when you get on the line weren't reading either. Also inside the ride, all of the progress displays were down.

I will always ride Test Track. Look forward to my next trip to see the ride fully functioning. Then I can give it an legit review. The best part still remains to be the outdoor track. The inside was confusing, during this testing phase.
