We are here from 6/13-7/18 tomorrow

Staying AKL
Lets say Disney magic is alive and well
Booked a standard room upgraded for free to a savanna.
7/15 was our 18th anniversary
We got lots of happy anniversaries and free deserts
Every cast member we pass says hello and is always pleasant.

We have eaten
Breakfast
Boma
Tusker house/ Donald
In room dining
Writers shop- carrot cake cookie

Lunch
France- chefs
Italy tutto
Sanaa
Brown derby

Dinner
Jinko
Crystal palace
Cosmic rays
Safari/ Jiko
Be our guest
Not a bad meal in the bunch

Weather
Not too bad, cooler then NY
Rained in afternoons , we ate lunch or napped. Didn't get wet once.

Tour groups are here, but never had an issue!
We rope dropped, no waits. Napped came back and closed parks.

We are having a magical time

Nice to see you are enjoying yourself. You are right about the weather right now. I am staying hidden inside my bedroom with the a/c on. I kid to the hubby that this is Disney World weather we are having here in Buffalo right now. AKL is on my bucket list.

How does breakfast at Boma compare to breakfast at Tusker House? I only care about the food, not the characters.

Breakfast about same, Boma has a omelette bar.

We go on the 29th, staying a AKL also. I have heard from several people who said there are fridges, do you have one in your room? Just confirming.

We live in North Tonawanda!! We are heading to WDW 8/23, I should be outside getting used to the heat!! Instead, inside in the a/c!!

AKL will forever and always be my favorite resort now! It's just too gorgeous and wonderful for me to not love it! So much awesome dining in there too! Yum!

We stayed 8 days at AKV on points and we also got upgraded to Savanna view!! Love that!!

Anxious to hear you BOG experience for lunch..we loved it and the wait was not all that bad.....
