We're here now - arrived yesterday. This is our first summer trip - in the past, we've been in mid-January or Spring break.
I *hate* the heat. I always have, but developed mild asthma as an adult which gets triggered by it. The fact that (ahem) it's now often warmer exactly where I am than other people right around me helps nothing.
We were at Epcot today. It was definitely hot and muggy. Having said that, we were inside a fair amount, including booking a TS lunch which we've never done at Epcot before. Worked very very well for us to have that time to cool down. We arrived at 8:45 (9a rope drop) and left around 3p.
I did use the Frogg Toggs Dana/bandana for a while. Interestingly, while it wasn't a lot of help outside, it made me cool down much more quickly inside. I think it's too muggy for the evaporation to work well outside. We each took a Thermos of water, so could sip really cold water as we went. We also had the cheap little O2 water fans with the Carabiner clips. I bought them kind of as a joke - but they worked surprisingly well.
We'll be taking all of the above with us the rest of the week - but with them, and a little planning, it's definitely doable. (I'm a little concerned about AK, as we spend less time inside there - but we'll see. As of now, 80% chance of rain.)
