I have a dairy allergy and I eat vegan most of the time. These cupcakes and donuts are amazing!!! Make the trip and get these. gf/df/sf/egg free. I got a half dozen on Saturday and kept them in the fridge. They taste great still. I just let them warm up. So good!!!!!

oh yeah, Babycakes is awesome!!! I was pretty sure I about bought them out the day I visited Sooooo good!

I'm probably more excited for Babycakes than most of the stuff at WDW

My friends have been told that they will be hearing about it for months and months if we don't make it to Babycakes, I missed them in NYC (ironically because it was going to Babycakes or seeing the new Disney store in Times Square) and damnit I'm not missing it again!!

Just ran into Babycakes this afternoon for some treats. Even late in the afternoon they had a pretty good selection. We bought donuts, cupcake and brownie bites. (No nose prints on the case this time from DD, she just kept going back and forth between the two cases trying to choose).

We never made it to DTD but we did get a cake delivered. It was AMAZING!! It definitely did taste a bit different than a regular cake but it tasted much better than a typical allergy type cake. DH normally doesn't like gluten free baked goods but this cake he really enjoyed. Same with DD10; French Meadows and Enjoy Life are the only gluten free products she's ever enjoyed (she can have gluten but has her own long list of allergens; these are safe for her) but she quite enjoyed the cake. They do charge an extra $10 for delivery and that cake was quite expensive to begin with ($45 for a 6 inch cake; 9 inch would have been $75) but it was SOOOOOO worth it. YUMMY!!!!! DSD and her husband thought it was just ok.

I was actually asking about a cake today. I was a little surprised at the price, so we may just go with cupcakes. I was told they do accept Disney Gift cards, so DD may get a BC shopping spree for her birthday

Do they deliver the cupcakes? That's super tempting! (Not that I still won't make it down there to see in person) We've got two GF people and the other three will eat GF if it tastes "real" enough.

According to Special Diets, Babycakes is not supposed to deliver to restaurants. In our case, I worked with IPO to arrange the delivery to a restaurant in the same resort in which we were staying club level. I'm not sure that restaurants can take the deliveries. The club chef at our resort then went above and beyond to work with the chef at the restaurant to make sure that the cake arrived in time for delivery at the end of our meal. I really don't know how standard delivery at WDW would work. Last I heard, the restaurants are not allowed to serve food that's not from their kitchen. When talking with Babycakes, make sure that your delivery is permitted. Our delivery was I believe actually listed as going to a club CM and not the actual restaurant.

We're not eating at any resort, so I'd rather get it delivered to the desk anyways I'll have to call and see what I can do. Thanks for the info though.

Oh my goodness! I forgot that they are in Downtown Disney!!!!!!!!!!

My 4 GF kids (and their GF mom) and especially my GF, DF, Egg Free youngest will be thrilled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
