As someone who hasn't used FP+ yet (leaving tomorrow!!), I have no "official" opinion on the system yet. All I know, is that my family hardly ever pulled FP's, and we're able to travel at lower peak times since we live in FL, so the new system seems like it'll work for us. I totally sympathize with those that live out of state and spend thousands of dollars and don't have the luxury of traveling when crowds will be lower. It has to suck. As far as the tiers, I'm not particularly fond of them either, but I get WHY it has to be done. I will gladly report back (both positive and negative) after my trip.

OMG!!!!

This trip must be the worst for us at FL.
I had so many problems using the new app and there are lines everywhere!
I can only ride 3 rides from pre-booking and the rest turns into big waits!!!!

Trust me when I say this!

Don't visit the place for a long time. Disney dug a hole so deep this time that the place will fail big time compared to Universal Studios.

Sorry that my first post is such a rant but I just have to say it; as my vacation of a life time turned into such a big waiting in nothing.

The other thing I learned tonight is FP+ will definitely cut down on the amount of hours we will spend in the parks, especially hS and Epcot. Probably no more 10 to 14 hours in the parks once FP-is eliminated. I will spend way less money in the parks and probably more off site.

Guess that will free up ride space for Disney.

Stay away from Disney for a good couple of years! They are the worst place to visit right now. Legoland and Universal are much better!

Similar experience. Spent less time in the parks. Maybe that is the goal. It seems to be working.

This is what I believe will be the case for our family. We go in June and are each park from RD to closing. BUT the reason we do this is because we are able to pull FPs for most of the day. We are usually in MK at least 13 hours. Once we spent 16 hours in the park counting the first hour before park opening having our CP breakfast.

This was also the first trip I have heard CMs complaining openly about guests. I listened to one CM recall her story about being assaulted by a guest at a FP line.

I heard them too! Some were so frustrated sound like they will all quit soon. I even have a CM told me to visit SixFlags instead. The place will be near empty in half a year.
