its HOT! :sunny:

Ok. so maybe it has to do with being from Minnesota, but this humidity and heat is taking its toll on us!

We arrived about 7pm on Tuesday and headed to MNSSHP...AWESOME! No lines, great fun! We did the late fireworks, parade and villian party. We got handfuls of mini-Snickers on our way out. The weather was warm, but nice.

Yesterday, Wednesday, we went to MGM about 3pm to catch the parade. No problem finding a good spot 5 minutes before parade time. But, it was HOT. Star Tours was a walk on after the parade. No problem with Indiana Jones either. Walking from Indiana Jones to Playhouse Disney late afternoon was like a ghosttown! We grabbed rear, middle seats for Fantasmic at 6:45pm with little trouble. Again, HOT.

So, Fantasmic...never seen it before, and it made me cry! My kids were in awe and just loved it. I fought tears...so did dh. It was just incredible.

Today, we headed to MK for EMH, walk on everything until about 10:30am when we left for Chef Mickeys. Thank goodness because its HOT! I could never come here in the summertime! After an 11:20 ADR, we headed back to the resort and have been swimming ever since. Dark clouds are rolling in, hopefully giving us some relief from the heat.

I saw a DISSER today at Chef Mickey's at about 11am...you had on green and yellow tie-dyed matching t-shirts and a LGMH tied to your fanny pack. I was too shy to approach you! ;) Your shirts looked GREAT! Hope you had fun! We did!

Anyhow, just thought I'd check in since I paid over $9 for internet access for 24 hours~ :confused3

Hope youre having fun! We will be there in 3 weeks and I hope it cools down some by then!

Hello from a fellow Minnesotan! It's about 40 degrees here....so take your pick. :)

You guys have a great trip!

Sandy

Minnesota or not, disney site just said 92 today. Not quite October in st paul :goodvibes Hope the Low crowds make up for the heat. My reccomendation is to soak it up, and think about it while you are home in February!!!!

Hope you continue to have a great trip!!

We're headed down this weekend so I've been watching the 10 day forecast. If it holds, it's supposed to cool down Sunday night/Monday and get in the low 80s, upper 70s next week - woohoo!!!!!

Just spoke to a client in Clearwater yesterday and he warned me about the heat. But, then he said a cool front should come in before I arrive in 2 weeks!

SMNORNES I had to laugh when I read your post I thought the same thing last year when our family went on our first trip in October, it's too dang HOT can't even imagine summertime. Hope you have a good one, and thanks for the chuckle (my laptop is not letting me put those little laughy guys in here!!!)

Guess we lucked out! DH and I were there Friday night to Tuesday night, and the weather was in the 80's with lower humidity. Tuesday was the most uncomfortable--you could feel the moisture starting to build. We too had a great time at Monday's MNSSHP -- very low attendance.

Im glad you enjoyed Fantasmic. Reading how much you got into it gave me chills and made me misty-eyed. Fantasmic is one of my favorite things at WDW. I always sit with tears in my eyes.

Enjoy your vacation!!!

We are from MN also and heading down tomorrow. We have been there lots of times in the summer and also in April, October, November and December and I'd have to say that one of the hottest uncomfortable times was October. It was the humidity. Either I planned better for the heat in the summer, or it was just hot and humid in October. Someone said it's supposed to cool off over the week-end. Hope so.

How are the crowds?

Just watched the evening news in Indiana. They mentioned Orlando had record high temperatures today.

Hope you still have a blast!

We get there on Saturday and would love to have 80s and 90s for the highs. The long range forecast shows temps dropping to low 70s for highs and low 50s for lows on Tuesday and Wednesday and I'm getting worried. We have tickets for MNSSHP on Tues. Oct. 24th and were planning to go as lifeguards in t-shirts and shorts. Now I'm thinking I might need a back up plan with warmer clothes.

record high temps... yes. lol. im from MN too, and WOW, it is HOT. :) I was at Epcot today and could barley stand it, but i walked right onto test track and the nimo ride. Soarin was 45 minute wait so we fast passed that and went to 'livin with the land'. by the time we were done with "lwtl" saorin was up!

Crowds are bearable. but its sooo hot!

Off to MGM tomorrow!

crowds? What crowds? I'm following some TGM advice, though, too. We were at MK on Tuesday from 7pm-12am, MGM on Wednesday from 3pm-8pm and MK on Thursday from 8am-11am...pretty much walk on everything so far. Today we're off to Disney Quest....a nice COOL indoor thing to do. DD has an appt at BBB, too. Should be a great day! :goodvibes We're going to AK all day tomorrow, followed by ADR's at Rainforest Cafe.

Sorry, but I LOVE the hot....We usually go in July, so it is quite hot then. We have 50 degree weather here in NW Ohio. I'd take the hot weather anytime! (But I am one of those people who are cold and wear sweatshirts until it is at least 75 degrees)...

Have fun!!!! At least you can enjoy the water rides better than if it was cool!
