Here now and a few observations

It's still magical! I like the convenience of fp+ when I was skeptical. I have burned a lot of fps and simply not used them because it didn't suit me but the ones I did schedule and use came in very handy. I especially liked the FoF parade fp because it wasn't crowded, I could stand back and see everything, my granddaughter was up front and several characters stopped and made over her and best of all our pictures have the castle in the background.
I would recommend going into BOG to see the decor but do lunch. It's nothing special from the atmosphere to the food.
I don't think the Tomorrowland Dessert party (while a nice place to sit and rest) was worth it. The view isn't that great and you can find free places to sit of you want an obscured view. The desserts were excellent though.
Most of the trip has been great. Pretty crowded but no one obnoxiously rude ( except maybe the lady who saw my daughter in law walking toward her but not looking in her direction, didn't move even though she saw my DIL wasn't looking, then complained loudly to her companions "see? That's the sort of thing I was talking about" and being rude and angry even though my DIL was apologizing profusely. It's like she was having a bad day and was determined to ruin someone else's. Didn't work. We dismissed her and her attitude within minutes and still had a great time.
The crowds have been something else though. Almost too crowded to have a good time.
Snow on Main Street!
CMs have been great! Have not had any issues at all. I have found them very accommodating.
Expensive!
Bibbidi bobbidi Boutique totally worth it!

Glad you are having a good time! Were you in MK yesterday? We were and thought the crowds were pretty light although the wait times seemed to be higher than expected. We left right before the party, though.

Yes. It was more crowded that usual but not as bad as last Friday. (OMG). The party was great and only waited 25 minutes for Jack Skellington. He's hilarious! We actually got a lot of our must dos done and cleared out all of our fps so we can chill out and enjoy the resort. Maybe swim.
Wasn't the rain a pill though?

Yeah, the rain was totally unexpected! We are headed to Epcot today and MK tonight just for parade and Wishes. Leaving Friday so we are trying to wind down a bit.

Have fun! Use the fps wisely and then just do whatever! It's worked for us. I had a fee bloopers ( I booked the mine train for my DGD but she want tall enough but we were able to sprinkle pixie dust on another guest! A man walked up with his wife and little one and he wanted to ride but not make them wait an hour. My son asked the CM if he could use his fp and the CM said they have another scan at the ride entrance but he let my son walk in and do the 2nd scan then come back out. The guy was very happy and my son felt good. Almost like the paper fp days!

Yeah, the rain was totally unexpected! We are headed to Epcot today and MK tonight just for parade and Wishes. Leaving Friday so we are trying to wind down a bit.

Yes we're going to hang around the resort this morning then my DGD has a Wonderland tea party. After that back to DHS for Fantasmic and ToT again. Maybe play in the snow at Oakens and definitely the osbourne lights. I have the 3D Christmas glasses!

I'm in MK today and it's much busier than I expected. Then again this is my first day and I think I got spoiled by universal which was a dream in every possible way. Even so, I am liking FP+ much to my surprise. I didn't even start until 11 and I'm already on my 6th pass. The kiosks are fast and efficient and there's plenty of choices. We'll see how I feel about it when I get to one of the parks with fewer attractions.

Totally off topic, but how many days out were you able to book your parade Fp? Just wondering if I have any hope of grabbing one for our trip.

I was able to snag a MSEP fp a couple of weeks before our trip. We were in the Main Street hub and got the early time, too. Worked great because we were leaving right after.

We did MK on Sunday and went to Universal for the first time for a few days. It was a dream. Rode everything multiple times on both days with no waits. Harry Potter Worlds were so awesome and much better than NEW

Yep, the guys did Universal yesterday and everything was a walk on even Harry Potter. I think next time we may try to do more Universal or other WDW parks besides MK. Just too busy. We still did everything we wanted but no going back. I ended up "losing" my book bag with the autographs in it and we had pretty much finished all the princesses. The only thing we had left was 1900 Park Fare. There was no way we were going to attempt he m&gs again.

Same here we had a great time at MK on Sunday, but I am so glad my group vetoed DAK Tuesday and we hit Universal for a "scout it out" mission. We went back Wed and had a blast, no lines, rode Gringotts 4x. The Potter stuff is absolutely amazing. NFL isn't even in the same game let alone league. Sorry, I like Disney and all but DANG!! I kept saying I hate that Disney bought Lucas. I wish Universal had it, I can only imagine what they would do with it. I hope Disney steps up, I really do.

We just got back today after a couple of weeks at WDW; upgraded our MYW tickets to AP's because we plan on coming back several times over the next year.

But the week of New Years (wow, just 4 weeks from now) we are returning and going to Universal for the first time. We bought AP's for Universal as well and will be staying on-site so it should be a fair comparison.

After this past trip and a few things that happened during it, I have to say that WDW lost some of it's magic for us.
