That's been one of the nice things we've found about FP+ .... We really don't need to go through the RD stampede anymore. The headliners are already reserved and guaranteed![]()
That's great for you but not necessarily the person that doesn't have the waterpark option.
Was wondering if you can get your 4th fp immediately after using your 3rd or if you have to wait for the window to close? Example: My 3rd fp was at Test track from 1pm to 2pm, but I rode test track at 1:30, so can I get my 4th at 1:45 or do I have to wait until 2?
No I wouldn't. It would spit out the next available time with FP-, which was apparently 45 minutes later. FP- didn't skip around. Actually, under the old system I could have pulled 2 more FP- in that 3.5-4 hour timeframe.
Bumping this because I have the same question - thought one of the blogs I read said you could do it as soon as you were in the window for the third FP, used or not. So asking if our third FP is from say 12-1, can I go to a kiosk at 12, 1, or whenever I use it in between? Thanks!
I guess that depends on whether you want to do ALL of the headliners. Tiering has made rope drop more important than ever if you want to do TSMM and RnR or Soarin and TT.
I doubt you could always get RNR FP- for 45 minutes after lunch. The few quiet months we have traveled the headliners still went faster than that anyway.
But even if you could-there are times we would rather have 3 1/2 hours later-so now we get to choose. Couldn't before.
I have never debated that that particular enhancement was anything but an enhancement![]()

The stand by time (RR)was also 45 minutes. Our original FP's were TSMM at 11:15 with a standby time of 90 minutes, TOT at 12:15 with a standby time of 30 minutes and ST at 1:15 with a stand by time of 25 minutes. We decided to have lunch at the Brown Derby about 1:45 and while we were waiting for a table I walked over and made the 4th FP reservation. I would not considered it dead as far as crowds go and don't see it as waste at all
We got to do all 3 headliners, star tours and had a really nice lunch in just under 4 hours.

I don't think you really grasp how we toured. What was today...a 4? I could have ridden TSMM, RNRC, TOT and ST all twice before 1pm....EASILY!
You could have today as well.
I would love to know what suit thought this idea up. This does nothing but cause the same problems they claimed FP+ would solve. If they wanted to add more FP+ slots they should of just done it across the board and include park hopping. Not turn it into a game of 3 card Monte. /Sigh Disney...
We got Fastpass+ for all of these, just not on the same day and multiple times and before today's changes.
I never said you did.
I was just pointing out that even if there was an app that displayed return times-it did you no good if you wanted to actually select a FP- where the kiosk you can select additional FP+'s for any attraction location from there.
Not everyone has the time to go to the parks on multiple days to experience the headliners.
With our 4 day AFS tickets, we generally only have the time to get to HS once. MK usually takes at least 2 days because of how many more attractions it has, Epcot 1, and then 1/2 day each for the other 2 parks. Epcot's 1 day's worth of time is occasionally split over 2 days (1 full MK day, 1 Full Epcot Day, 1 Epcot/MK split day, 1/2 day at the other 2), but with only 4 day tickets it's more difficult to get to each park more than once.

Pretty sure your friend is a big fibber.
