here is a transportation challenge -- hddr

i am surprising my dh with a trip to the hoop dee doo review and a carriage ride at fw when we go to wdw in august. we'll be going to the 7:15 show, and my original plan was to take the boat from the magic kingdom, but i noticed that the magic kingdom is closing at 7pm the night of our ressie. i am guessing that the boats to fw from the mk will be really crowded around the time we'd need to get on them.

so...i'm trying to figure out some way to get to the hddr without just going to dtd and getting on the fw bus. i want to try to confuse him first. we will be staying at cbr.

If you have a rental car you can either "get lost" or try a "short cut" and wind up in FW.

You could always take the Monorail from Epcot or MK to the TTC, and hop on board the FW bus from there.

I don't think the boats will be bad for you since you will be going over about 6:30 - one half hour before scheduled park closing.

the monorail from epcot is a good idea! i didn't even think about that.

i wasn't sure when the transportation leaving the park got really swamped.

we've toyed with the idea of renting a car, but since i will not be 25 until later this year (i hate that policy -- i have a better driving record than dh!) dh would have to do the driving. since we live in the dc suburbs and work downtown we have to fight through traffic and spend a lot of time in the car every day. we both find disney transportation to be more relaxing.

Take the bus to WL then take the boat from there.
