Hi all- we are at the Wilderness Lodge now, checked in yesterday. Staying CL.... It is awesome! In a renovated room (7060) with the best view ever.... Cinderellas Castle. It is unbelievable. Watched Wishes from our balcony last night, amazing. I will post some photos when we return home.
CMs have been great, some bus issues this morning. But, overall it's fabulous.

Is room 7060 a bunk bed room or two queens??? Maybe I'll try to get that one!!! Sounds like an amazing view...they must have cut back some trees...

I started crying on the Magical Express and haven't stopped(happy tears). The room is two queens, I had requested bunk beds, but I am perfectly happy with this. The view of the castle is between some trees that looks like it was cleared out by magic. It's quiet over here but still close to the lounge and elevators. I have room and view photos, but just haven't had time to upload yet. The bathroom tiles are soooo cute! New carpet and floor tiles are great. It feels so clean and new.
Kids are having a blast, but boy is it hot! Doing the pirate and pals tonight. I will review that too. Off to the pool.... Thank you all for your kind words!

I am soooo happy for you!!! I can't wait to get there. We don't care if we get a bunk bed or two queens either, but would LOVE a MK view.

How is CL? Is your balcony enclosed or is it an open one where you can see the view while seated? We are considering CL for our next trip, but really don't want an enclosed balcony and really want to hear that the food choices are abundant and replenished often! Thanks!

Glad you are having fun Is your room over the service road by chance? Or further down the hallway? I gather it is a woods view ? We were in room 7057 which faced the courtyard. Have fun !!

Isn't the Old Faithful Club staff and lounge amazing?! I'm glad you have a rehabbed room and a great woods view. Enjoy the rest of your stay and that incredible lounge view down to the lobby and out to Bay Lake

Did you happen to notice if the flags on the roof were raised. When we were down for a quick weekend trip 2 weeks ago I noticed no flags. I questioned a manager and was told that they are working on the roof. They were at the section where the flags are positioned. We were told the work will be a couple of more months. Just wondering if they were past the flag section. Being a veteran flag family you tend to look up all the time....

The WL balconies are enclosed. My room had a very direct view of wishes and we loved it! When you looked down you saw the parking lot and the smoke house so having the balcony enclosed was no big deal to us.

When I was there in May the food was abundant and replenished very quickly.

The WL balconies are enclosed. My room had a very direct view of wishes and we loved it! When you looked down you saw the parking lot and the smoke house so having the balcony enclosed was no big deal to us.

When I was there in May the food was abundant and replenished very quickly.

Thanks for the response! I've read there's a few CL rooms that are not enclosed, like the standard rooms but it's a select few. Might have to take my chances!

I have a feeling that those are the deluxe rooms because those are not all located on the 7th floor. So, technically a deluxe room not on the 7th floor would be a CL room without an enclosed balcony. I could be wrong, but I think it makes sense.

We are heading to WL CL on 7/13, but we put a request in for bunk beds or my boys 10 and 14 will be killing each other..
