Okay we are staying at SSR for 5 nights and BWV for 4. We are going to try the water parks for the first time..go to each park one time. We want to take the kids to DQ a couple of times too. Of course DTD time. We are going to try the Princess/Pirate Party when they release the dates for Aug. we will know more. We are only going to EC two days and no other parks. SO I was thinking pool time at both resorts, mini golf when we are staying at BWV. Can you suggest anything else. How about any good restaurants/counter service places too. We are probably not using the dining plan but would like to try new places. We are used to eating mainly in the park type restaurants. We want a more laid back......trip compared to our Jan. or Nov. trips where we DO MAJOR PARK ACTION. Thanks. This is of course our first trip HOME. Thanks so much. :)

I am tired just reading your post!!!!! We have done the water parks the last few years and boy does it take alot out of me!!! We haven't done the theme parks but will this August (not because I really want to my girls do!!).

We love hanging at the pool, meeting new people. We also venture off site to see some of the area attractions and even head to the beach!!! We usually meet the same families year after year at OKW and our kids enjoy hanging at the pool and playing at Hanks with them!!!

while at BWV you might like to eat at the ESPN club and beaches and cream at BCV.

How about rent a pontoon boat from DTD and take a lazy cruise up the canal toward Port Orleans. Or rent 2 water mouses at a Magic Kingdom resort.

Ride the resort monorail and visit each hotel... maybe give your kids the task to buy something for less than $5 at each hotel as a family challenge.

Visit other resort pools (except AKL and BYC of course)

Are there links on this board for these boat type activities...fees and all. Thanks

We love visiting the deluxe hotels and soaking in the theming/atmosphere. One can pool hop if it's not banned during that time. I think combining pool hopping, resort exploring and a few of the more casual dining options might be great. Actually this trip might be the perfect one for the DDP, esp for the BWV portion and particularly if you aren't leaving too early your last day (assuming that's your second segment). Do places like Flying Fish, Spoodles or Yachtsman in the resort areas and places like Le Cellier and similar at EPCOT. Pool hop to Coronado Springs and eat at the Pepper Market for counter service with smoothies. use the snacks for bakery items and ice creams. Epcot also has some of the better values and choices for counter service meals and you can use counter service at the water parks and DD for DQ time.
