Herbie's Dine-In ???

Has anyone been to Herbie's??? How is it for CS meal??? Are these steamed rolls big enough for a meal or is it more of a snack???

just subscribing - I've never heard of this place - is it themed for Herbie the Love Bug? My sons would absolutely flip out - they are obsessed!

Herbie's is a CS restaurant in MGM Studios. I was curious about the steamed buns and how they taste and how big they are. I haven't seen any pics of them on the DisFoodPic board.

It is a kiosk that looks like a trailer located over by the entrance to the car stunt show, whatever it's called. Right now I just remember the Motors, Action part.

I have not eaten anything from there.

Herbie's is located in front of the church on the Streets of America near the Stunt show. I wouldn't refer to it as a "restaurant". It is more like a large trailer or food cart. It reminds me of the food trucks you see at construction sites. I have not eaten there but I think it would be more of a snack than a meal.

I looked all over for this place in May: a CM said there was no such place! Finally found it near the car stunt show and got the sampler- I'd say pass on this. Mostly bun with very little filling and not too tasty at that. Even the fellow serving it had the same expression on his face as mine when I received it. But then again, someone may post who will claim it was the highlight of their trip...

you'd be surprised. Mine's 4 and I think he gets little crushes.

We had the steamed buns(bbq) and they were great, they look kind small, but are very tasty! I would say they are more of a snack or very light meal. There are 3 kinds, can't think of the other 2. They also have pretzels.

I just checked out the menu, The Sampler Sounds Interesting, But I am picturing a soggy hamburger bun that was dipped in flavored juice or something......Just Curious.....

My advice would be to take the kids to the ASMo resort for a visit and show them the Herbie & The Love Bug Section... VERY cool! They can get some great pics and Im pretty sure there's some merchandise in the resort store.
