I bought some Twinings herbal teas last weekend. I was looking at the wrapper on the tea bag: A comforting blend with African Honeybush and the flavours of mandarin and orange.

What is an African Honeybush? Has anyone ever seen one? How do I know it will be comforting? :confused3

I will take a picture of one. African Honeybush is quite common here in Africa.

It sounds wonderful. I love herbal tea.

Honeybush is...
Similar in appearance to Rooibos. Honeybush flavor is similar to Rooibos but slightly sweeter. Honeybush flowers emit distinct “honey” scent.
In order to produce the sweetest flavor Honeybush plant is harvested during flowering season

Honeybush tea is a delicious tasting beverage that can be served hot or cold. Recommended steeping time < 5min .

There you have it.:)

African Honeybush? Sounds like something that would be interesting to try. Wonder if it would taste as sweet as it sounds? :)

I generally like only certain types of tea and am very picky--must have my Constant Comment every afternoon in the cooler months (now that I think of it, I'm constantly commenting all day long throughout the year...I had to say it before one of you did  ).

I was reading about some kind of honey something or other the other day and it sounded really good--I wonder if this is similar. I'll have to try and remember exactly what that was.

POOP ON A POPTART! You beat me to it! :rotfl2:

I am partial to Twinings Pure Peppermint herbal tea in the evening. I like my tea with milk and sugar, and Twining's PP is one of the very few herbals that don't curdle the milk. :scared1: I'll look for the honeybush with mandarin and orange, though. Sounds delicious! (Do you drink it with milk? Does it curdle?)

No milk - just plain with a little honey. I never put milk in herbal teas. :)
