Hi Shirley,

I really don't mean to be a pain and hope I'm not ticking you off. I'll double-check the documentation I have at home as soon as I'm done with this crazy day I'm having at work. But are you understanding the DCL person to be saying that soft-sided coolers won't be allowed at all even if they fit the size limitations? Or are they still allowed as long as the size limitation is met? I'm just so confused. If I need to take this cooler back to Walmart and get a regular carry-on type suitcase I can do that.

Like I said... hope I'm not ticking you off. Just really want to understand. Maybe I'm just being stupid or my stupid crazy day around here is making me stupid, but I'm still confused.

- ALL SOFT SIDED COOLERS WILL BE ALLOWED IF AND I MEAN IF THEY ARE THE ONES THAT CAN PASS THE XRAY MACHINES AT THE AIRPORT. You are allowed to bring beer, wine, sodas, water (NO FOOD) in your carryon so if you have this type of soft sided cooler, you will be fine - you are NOT allowed the hard kind and that will be disallowed - you will be just fine with what you have. hope you now can relax and enjoy getting ready for your awesome cruise

Can we bring packaged food (not opened) either in our carry-on or checked luggage? I was thinking of bring baby puff(s) and/or cheerios for my little one. I checked the listing for cereal on board and I didn't see cheerios.

Ok... anyone know which way we can bring on our Fish Gifts for the PC Repo cruise??? We're brining candy (and I was thinking of bringing some for our stateroom hosts, etc. too)

Checked, carry on or box that I bring on myself - not check...

Any one know???

We brought candy, no question. It was in our carry ons. We also got candy in abundance in our FE Gifts, so I am assuming they had no problems either. We did not try to bring water or other food items. Personally, I know what I pay for Evian water at home and do not feel the price is *that* outrageous. And way worth the convenience of them bringing it to me.

There are a few places but my favorite on is at Zackery's Restaurant which is right next door to the Radisson - where are you staying??? or come by the shop and you can use mine.

Heather when you go in, speak either to Zack or Dena and let them know you are off the Disboard ok and that I also recommended them to you, but then they know I always do anyhow ;-)

It means I have not had aroom # in over 14 months! And my trip is in 5 weeks! You get a gty room instead of a room # and DCL assigns a # at a later date.

GTY is a room that is not assigned a specific stateroom number but instead you are guaranteed that category level or above when it is assigned. From what I can ascertain, that is more likely done when the ship is almost full or that category is about to sell out.

But we DO have a room number.... it's lifeboat #5!!!

(and not to scare everyone else... we've been joking over on our trip thread that we are in the lifeboats until we get our rooms... we've even thought of decorating them... - hey... that's an idea.... )
