So I know the "official" opening of the 50 year celebration is opening May of 2005, but will things like Cinderellabration and the other festivities be going on in 2 weeks???????

I know Soarin' is only open for AP holders, but what about the stunt show at MGM?

We were watching the Planning DVD last nite and my hubby saw that the opening of the 50 year celeb. was in May and he was kinda ill at me for making my ressies for April and not waiting til May BUT----

(he told me to make ressies for ASAP because 'he needed a vacation fast!!' that he was getting job burnout so I made em like he told me too. hhmmph....MEN

I watched my DVD today and was a little upset that I hadn't waited 2 more weeks...

I saw a post about someone getting to see the stunt show and a driver being injured so they must be doing previews at the very least. You will be able to enjoy the flower and garden show in April and have smaller crowds. I don't think you made a mistake at all. In fact, there is always something new coming up at WDW that brings you back again so don't sweat it.

Just came back - Cinderellabration is showing every hour and the Stunt Show at MGM is 3 times per day!! (iT IS FANTASTIC BY THE WAY)

Cinderellabration and Lights Motorcars Action are both in regular rotation in their respective parks. It's A Small World is complete and open again. Soarin' is in soft opening, with a pretty good availability every day. Pretty much anything that was on the docket for May 5 is up and operational, although you'll need to check every day at the parks for specific show or opening times.
