Help!

Hi all-
We just decided to go to WDW for spring break after a few rough months. There's nothing like a WDW trip to brighten the spirits!!
So, I appreciate the help in booking a last minute trip (at least for me) for the last week of March. I usually book with a travel agent but she is currently on vacation and I see that the current deals end tomorrow. What usually happens to the prices after a sale expires? Do they go back to rack rate? We are interested in a deluxe but not sure which. I really want to book with my agent since she usually gets deals or freebies thrown in, but I'm worried that I will miss out if I wait till she returns next week. Any thoughts?

When the booking period for the discount ends it ends.
I believe the current offer is book through January 2nd so you at least have until tomorrow night to decide.
You're gonna have to do it yourself or miss out.

So, I went to the Disney site, and when I put in my dates, it returns with a list of resorts that have availability with the sale price, but then when I click on a specific hotel, there are no rooms available. Any thoughts?

Either the rooms allocated for the discount are gone or you may need to clear your cookies and availability may show up.
If you're having trouble call in the morning to have Disney help. If it says it will be a long hold time I just hang up and call right back and that tends to give me a much lower wait time. I never wait on hold for more than a few minutes yet I hear of people waiting hours. I just don't get that.

Not sure what resorts you were looking at but I checked Animal Kingdom Lodge and it looks like the rooms allocated for the discounts as re gone because there is no availability when looking at special offers but if I switch to a non discounted room or package there is availability. It's that or those dates are excluded from the discount.

Thanks for checking! I was able to see them earlier today...not sure what is going on now. It says the deal is bookable THROUGH January 2, so not sure what is going on. Maybe I just need to call. Thank you for looking again though!

Why don't you call? The CM will help you with the dates and resorts that have availability. This issue is that sometimes the dates you put into the system are not available however if you move them a bit, add a day on, etc there will be a resort that works.

The TA cannot get discounts "thrown in" but will get the same offers you can get. Freebies may be from the agency, but if Disney offers a FD discount you can get it just as the TA can. I know a TA can make the logistical challenges of actually booking the resorts etc easier, however if necessary, you are able to do the same things a TA can do.

Have you considered rent points? Head over to David's vacation Club Rentals. https://www.dvcrequest.com You can get great deals on rooms at Deluxe hotels and the cost is similar to paying for Moderate accommodations. Below is just a sampling of the dates you provided, and may not be available but it's worth looking into to see if it's right for you.
