Help!!

I am trying to decide on which resort to stay at next year. We have narrowed it down to the Poly, YC, BC, and WL. Each has their pros and cons. The main concern is transportation. I am pretty flexible on everything else due to the fact that I dont sweat the small things while I am in the world. With that being said can you nice people help me make up my mind. Pics would be helpful as well..

Honestly we love all the parks the same. Proximity to parks is not necessarily a deal maker. We just want the best overall.

We love the Poly but then we are real MK fans. I love the convenience of hopping on the monorail or resort launch for a quick trip to MK. In fact I often head back after a long day at another park just for Wishes.

Beach Club! You can walk to Epcot and DHS. From what I remember you only share a bus with YC, so it doesn't get too crowded and the wait for buses was never that bad when I went.

We love the Poly, it's our favorite resort! The resort is beautiful and Kona Cafe and Ohana (at dinner) are 2 of our favorite places to eat in WDW. It's so convenient being on the monorail with access to Epcot and MK...that would be my pick of those 4 resorts. Actually, that's my pick out of any of the WDW resorts.

Best is kind of subjective. Are you planning to do much dining in the resorts. If you are, take a look at the restaurants in the Epcot area resorts vs. the MK area resorts and see which appeal to you.

As far as transportation goes:

From BC and YC you can walk or take the ferry to Epcot and DHS. You can also walk through Epcot to get on the monorail to go to the MK resorts or MK itself (if you have park-hopper passes). Bus to AK.

Poly is on the monorail, so you use that to get to MK, Epcot and the other monorail resorts. Bus to DHS and AK.

WL has ferries to MK and Contemporary, which allows you good access to the monorail. Buses for DHS and AK (and MK and Epcot if you chose to ride them).

Without knowing how many are in your party or the ages, I'd at least narrow the list to BC, YC and Poly on transportation alone (since you said that was a big factor). From there decide which group of resorts are more appealing to you.

TY we have 4 kids 13,10,6, 10months. they do not have a prefernce as to park. They just love WDW

Based on the age of your kids, I'd say either Poly or BC. Show them photos of Poly's Volcano pool and BC's Stormalong Bay and see which one they like best.

You can't go wrong, they're both awesome resorts that have MANY fans here on these boards.

From your choices, I've stayed at 2 of the resorts: WL and BC.

WL pros: boat transportation to MK, beautiful lobby area, gorgeous pool, room rates are lower than other deluxe resorts, great restaurants, lovely landscaping. It is a very warm, inviting, and relaxing resort.
WL cons: (and this could be a pro depending on how your perspective) WL is more secluded than the other resorts on your list, small dark rooms, you have to take the bus to parks other than MK.

BC pros: FANTASTIC location-steps away from the WS entrance to Epcot and all of the entertainment on the Boardwalk, best pool on property, boat transportation to DHS, and great TS restaurants surround you.
BC cons: Rooms aren't very big (compared to Contemporary and Poly) and do not allow for much privacy getting ready in the mornings (the bathroom set up in the Contemporary and in the Poly is much better,) the hallways are REALLY long and it could be a real hike to get to the lobby area from your room, CS locations are lacking.

My family isn't planning to return to the BC because the rooms are quite uncomfortable for us now that our boys are getting older. It would be much too expensive for us to get 2 rooms there.

Based on the resorts you are thinking of staying at I would go with the Polynesian because of their theme, Resort Monorail access and their rooms are the biggest on your list.
