help !!

Im in a panic, i paid my balance £861 by phone to dlp on tues just gone, payment was successful, i checked my bank online and the money had gone out :cool1:
so tues, weds, thurs fine - today i check my bank and the moneys back in :sad2: so i phoned my bank who confirms the balance £861 but says that no money has been returned to my account :confused3
 
all I can say is free money!! yay ... kind of lol ? :confused:
Hmm sorry I cant much help but ring disney and find out whats happened
 
Can the bank see the money having gone out on Tuesday or not ? Is it something you see when you look on line in your transactions ?
 
Yikes!
Ring Disney is the only option.
Hopefully you'll get a free hol but in likeliness theres a simple explaination

I have phoned disney and they said that it takes about 10days to come out of the bank, so im still confused why online banking showed it had gone then come back in but they assured me that im paid up and everything is fine :cool1:
 
Disney is right - don't know why, but sometimes the money looks like its come out straightaway, then reappears, then eventually is taken out again permanently, usually within a week or so.
 
That is so weird:confused: Wonder why it does it like that

I think this is because payments to Disney are larger amounts, so they show up as pending payments until they are fully authorised - so they might not show up on statements, but do count towards available balance. Disney confirm that the payment has been taken, if you phone them. That happened with my Disney payment.
 
Does that to me every single time. Usually cleared properly out my account after 10 days.
 
Yep, that is the normal practice - which can give you false hope if you aren't savvy to it, that you have loads of money in the bank!

It will either show up as a pending payment (where there is a big gap between your available balance and the balance your bank will give you by say, text message) or as all to often, will leave your account, then reappear. We had this problem last year, but found when the money showed up again, it had been "refunded" in euro's, meaning we were £11 short when it eventually went out!! This meant the person with the bank account went over their limit and charges were made! On the phone to Disney and they refunded the £11, gave us an upgrade and free Cafe Mickey Breakfast and got the bank to refund the charges. Hence I will never use Disney again to book direct as last time it was toooo much hassle and will stick to my TA again....I like to kow I am done and dusted and I get the same deal with my TA as I would do with Disney :)
