Help!!

How do I get a mud stain out from a pair of white pants..in the knee.... I washed them today with spray and wash and it lightened the stain but its still bad..bad...bad...are the pants just doomed to be play pants now or are they salvageable?

If they're white, can you bleach it?

I dont have oxi clean or bleach, dang it. Will it hurt if they air dry overnight until I get some or should i keep them wet?

drying overnight wont hurt it just dont dry them in the dryer its the heat that sets the stain.


Another option is dish soap, not dishwasher soap, but something like Dawn or Sun. That might help, just rub it in with a toothbrush.

You bought a child white pants?

I suspect that you might fade the stain but it probably won't go away altogether. But try the bleach anyway. It can't hurt.

Fels Napa always worked for white baseball pants. It is a bar but is found with laundry items. I would wet the bar and pants, rub it on and sometimes even shred some into the washer.
