help!!

I am a newbie-not sure i'm in the right place! I am trying to plan a trip to DL for the 4 of us and I am over-whelmed already. When is the best time to go? Rental car or not? Where to stay? Is there a book that can help me with all of these ????How early do I need to start planning my trip??

There are books out there for planning trips. I would recommend the Unofficial Guide to Disneyland. You can pick up all sorts of information just by reading the various forums. Have fun.
