Hello everyone,

I am fairly new at the Codes and discounts forum. I have been exploring this site for a few weeks now and have come to the conclusion that I am officially confused In trying to keep up with the phrases and lingo, I want to book a DV in Nov. 2008, but don't understand how I can get the best deal for my family. I am trying to figure out what codes, pins, and postcards are and I think I got most of it figured out. In conclusion, here are my questions:
In your experience what is the best deal?
1. Purchasing a DV package through AAA or Disney?
2. Booking a "room only" ressie through AAA without the package?
3. Is booking a Disney Vacation Package worth it or just a gimic?

P.S. Is Thanksgiving in 2008 on the 27th of Nov.? Also,
is Thanksgiving concidered a value season or holiday?

I'm afraid I can't help you too much with all the package questions, we only do room only since we're passholders. But I use Dreams Unlimited travel agency (Jennifer is my agent and she's great) and they can make sure you get the best price and do all that research for you and keep an eye out for codes and special rates.
