Help!

My DH is taking the family on a trip to WDW for Christmas this year. We both tried to change our schedules, but the only time we can go is 12/24 to 12/30. After reading reports about crowds on 12/25 we decided to stay out of the parks during the day and only go for EMH. After speaking with a CM today to fine tune our ressies, she informed me that there is no guarantee that we will even be able to get in for EMH! Unfortunately, that is the only night EMH is scheduled at MK while we are there. I'm really concerned, since I do like the other parks, but my favorite is MK. I know there are a lot of factors, but has anyone been to MK the week of Christmas and know if the crowds settle down a bit after 12/25? I will be heartbroken if I can't ride HM or POTC, which are my two favorite rides. Any advice on strategy for MK that week?

my advice is to join TourGuideMike, the link is in the ad at the top of this page. He has specific advice for different times of year. I was at WDW until 12/24 in 2005, and didn't expect to get much "riding" done...I did, however, greatly enjoy everything from the decorations to the ambience.
