Please help! what is the best way to lose three or four pounds by this saturday please i have to lose it :confused:
 
Why in the world would you have to lose 3 or 4 pounds by Saturday??

That's like what, 1 day away? The only way I've ever heard of someone losing that much in that time frame is a crash diet and I DO NOT reccommend that.

So in my opinion, whatever it is, it can and should wait because it is not worth risking your health to do that..

I'm sorry I couldn't be more help and I don't mean to sound cynical, but given the time frame that you have to lose the weight, I don't think it's possible.
 

limit your diet to healthy things but things that wil still give you enough nutrients...

Suggested two day crash (HEALTHY!) diet:

All Day: WATER WATER WATER WATER!!! Exercise (but not til you kill yourself...walk, crunches, leg lifts...don't overdo it)
Morning Breakfast 7-8AM: Lender's Bagel with minimal butter
Morning Snack 9-10AM: Piece of Fruit of Choice
Lunch 11:30-12AM: Thin piece of bread, lunch meat (ie two slices of turkey/ham/roast beef/w/e), bag of pretzels or lowfat cheezits (NOT goldfish, NOT chips...pretzels or cheezits)
Afternoon Snack 3-4PM: Another piece of fruit
Dinner 5-7PM: Baked or grilled chicken, salad with minimal dressing

Did everyone read that? It is COMPLETELY HEALTHY and you will be eating stuff ALL DAY LONG but it's all stuff that is good for you, so you will feel full but will lose those couple of stubborn pounds.

This is basically what i eat every day...FYI...I have a little bit more for dinner with rice, and I tend to eat bad stuff in the afternoon and I keep slipping in cookies and treats mid-day which is BAD! HAHA, it takes will power. When I was on a diet for modeling, this is what I ate...and I was healthy and happy.

Over the winter I gained 12 lbs and it makes me very uncomfortable. :guilty:

Thanks so much! It's not easy and I have like...no self control...but it keeps me 108-110 at 5'3"...I was most comfortable (and healthy I swear to God) at 98lbs at 5'3" this past summer........Now I feel icky and my pants are too tight :sad1: I should take my own advice too.

But I mean, a lot of it is just common sense...think about it...tonight I had hamburgers on the grill...I ate one hamburger on a bun with just ketchup and then a second one withOUT the bun and just ketchup (like you used to do when you were a little kid). ::shrugs:: It's not that hard either, the actual diet part...it's just the self-control that's hard...
 
O_O the normal weight for anyone 10+ years is 113+ pounds, why would you WANT to loose weight? Only if your 150+ pounds you need to loose a FEW. My mom's a nurse so she deals with a lot of teens who just wanted to loose 2 pounds here or 4 pound there and got addicted to it! They are now in the hospital on IV's because they are annerexic.

I'm like..115 >_> but I don't consider myself fat, infact I think I need to gain 5-8 pounds to be in my weight range for a 5'5"
 
Burn more calories than you take in. It's the only way.

And what difference does three pounds make?

Honestly! Only 10 or more really matters!
 
You have to play 21 hours of tennis to lose 1 pound....


Yea, there's my advice. Just eat healthy and excersize for at least 40 minutes a day.

I know. The only time I've ever seen THREE FREAKING POUNDS matter, is in Ameture Wrestling, and Boxing.

Actually wrestlers dance between a couple of pounds quite a bit. I was thinking about Wrestling in MS and HS, but after I read about what kind of tourture they put themselves through, no.
 
Look, this girl is looking for advice and if this is what she wants to do then it's her business! She's not asking to be anorexic or be addicted to it is she??? No, she said she wanted to lose a couple pounds for the weekend! maybe she wants to look extra-good in a swimsuit...maybe for a prom! Give the girl a break! If you dono't have any advice, she doesn't need a lecture. If she was trying to lose 20lbs at 110 then I'd be worried.

For cripes sakes, does everyone on here have to turn everything into such a dramafest - a lecture for those who aren't as happy or confident as you??? HONESTLY!
