hi

does anyone know anything about violins?

i bought my daughter one off ebay as im now "hopelesly addicted to ebay barbie" and it came in perfect condition as described but with two of the four little screws missing from the end (sorry think they are called end pins or fine tuners or something).

does anyone on here know what they are called and where i can get two from?

also the violin is a stentor student 2.

any help would be good.

thanks

lucy

It's 30 years since I had lessons, but I think the fine tuner screws (I don't know their real name) are only needed for metal strings - I only had them on the A and E strings as the lower strings on my violin were gut. I'm sure your local music shop or wherever you buy the string from could help.

Just to echo Libby really Lucy - I never played, but my sisters did and our local music shop was always our first port of call for advice!

Lucy Hi

Take it into the local music shop they sorted ours out !

We see you are off again in 7 months, are you going back to AKL ?
