For anyone familiar with the site, how do I choose my seats? When I made the reservation, they chose seats for us. I was not able to pull up any kind of map. There was a place that said choose your seats, but nothing happened when I clicked on it.

Is it possible to view/change seats with USAirways, and if so, how?

It sounds like the flight you booked is pretty full. They save a percentage of seats to be assigned at check in so at that time you may be able to change your seats. The site will not let you choose a seat if the flight is almost sold out.

Unfortunately, once you purchase the tix on line, in order to make any seat changes you have to call USAirways 1-800-428-432. There is no place at the US web site to change seats. The last time I purchased USAir tix on line I missed the section where I was suppose to select seats. I simply called USAir and they were very nice about helping me get the seats I wanted. TIP-go to www.orbitz.com , select your flights and click on seat selection to see what is available - then call USAir and ask for the seats you want.

Thanks. I checked it out on Orbitz and our seats are fine. We are traveling with 4 people, and I wasn't sure how the seats were set up.

You can check your reservation on line at the USAir website. Since you're booking so far out (and there is the USAirways/America West merger coming up) your flights, or equipment might change, therefore changing your seats. I normally book pretty far out, too, and our USAir flights and seats have changed. A quick call to USAirways has always resulted in getting the seats, and approximate flight times I want.

I always check my airline reservations weekly in case there are any big changes. We have a direct flight from PHL to Cancun, so I doubt it will be effected by the merger. Very good advise though, they probably will be making some scheduling changes so that their services don't overlap.

I've never had any problem selecting my seats, or changing my seat selections later, as long as I made my reservations on US Airway's own web site, and entered by Dividend Miles number when I made my reservation. On their home page, I click on "usairways.com Reservations", enter my user name and password, select my reservation, etc.
