Help with trip amount

Hi everyone. I hope this is the right board for this. I went on my first trip to Disney in December 2006. Then it was a family of 6 and my sister planned it all.

My parents and I are going to say up after the holidays to go back. This time it will be 4 people. Right now my DD is 12. I dont know how old she will be when we are able to afford to go back.

My question is...Roughly (I know fees change yearly) would it cost for a family of 4 to go to WDW? Im looking at a week, with dining plan and the cheapest hotel on property. I dont need the amount set in stone...Just something to work with KWIM? I want to know how much Im looking at saving for.

Oh and the time of year...Halloween...We want to go to the Halloween celebration.

Hi Gina,

My suggestion is that you give a travel agent (preferable one who specializes in WDW) your information and ask them to price it our for you. Then you will pretty much have an exact idea.

You can get online quotes from many travel agents, including the sponsors of the DIS boards.

I would go to the WDW web site, enter all of your info, and get a price. You can select different resorts and see how the prices change, select the Dining Plan or remove the Dining Plan, change the dates (value season vs. holiday season), etc. And you can save these quotes, too, to compare.
