:confused3 i just ordered o 2007 powdered pink volvo maclaren stoller but i just found out they dont recline. please tell me this isnt true:scared1:

Sorry!! It stinks to find out your stroller doesn't have what you need it to have. Do you have time to cancel the order, so you can keep looking and won't have to pay return shipping if you decide on something else?

True. You would need a Mac Quest or a Mac Triumph to get a recline. How old is your child. I have a Volo and a Quest. The Volo I used for my older DD for Disney trips. She still was able to sleep in it though. For an everyday stroller I would want a recline.

Try a Combi Cosmo DX. It has a full recline and is inbetween and umbrella and full size stroller. It folds up to almost umbrella size and is very light weight. The price is very reasonable also. It's $99 at Target.

The Volo (note that the name is NOT the same as the car) is the only Mac model that does not recline.

No, it doesn't recline. Return it and get a Mac Triumph. It reclines nicely. I found the Combi to be flimsy and does't hold up well when an older child is put in it. I tried my 3 yr old in it and it didn't push well on a linoleum floor...and he's a featherweight. I have learned after purchasing 10 strollers, always try to look at one in person before purchasing. They are all made differntly and one little thing has the potential to be very disappointing or to be the best thing any stroller could offer. Good luck.

i thought the weight limit for mac triumph is 40 pounds. my daughter will be 3 1/2 when we go in dec.and she will be 3 in june and weighs 32 pounds!

go to Maclaren's web site and check for sure. Everything I've seen is 55# weight limit for Maclaren's just not sure if I saw the Triumph or not. However, I did see 40# weight limit on eBay and when I questioned them, they said they pulled the info from another seller and low and behold, it was wrong! the box was telling them it was 55# just like I had read. So just be careful where you trust the info from - go to the source.

The volo does not recline.

That said, they do have the slight recline to the seat as it naturally sits. I was worried about it, but my dd 20 months has fallen asleep in hers easily here at home. I am hoping that she will be able to do the same in Disney. I assume she will be tired enough it will be fine. My ds is 4, and has no reason to stroller sleep at home, but in disney last time (age 23 months) he would nod off while I was pushing him in the upright position of our old stroller, so I am not worried about him at all.

I just bought the Graco Ipo stroller. It was $80 at Babiesrus. It reclines and holds up to 50 pounds. It is an umbrella stroller and comes in two colors. I have the chocolate color.

another vote for the IPO.. we have a Mac Triumph and even though it reclines it doesn't recline anywhere near enough for a wee one to nap...
It's a really nice stroller.....

I'm sorry to hear of your troubles w/the volo...i hope you can work it out!

thanks everyone! we goy the volo and my 3yo dd loves it. we live in texas and usually when she is in her stroller her back would get all sweaty, but not today when we went walking:banana:  i do need to get something for storage for the back. mac.. had a storage ,but i dont feel like paying $ 25.00 any other suggestions?

My 2 year old fell asleep in his volo the other day. If they are tired enough they will sleep anywhere. He falls asleep in his carseat and of course it doesn't recline either.

You cant put too much on the handles or it will flip. I just bought a little mesh drawstring 'backpack' (tiny - kidsized) to hang on the handles - one for each volo. They weigh next to nothing, and I can keep the little things in there and handy and they are easy to remove and take with us if necessary.
