This will be our first visit during July 3/4th, and we are trying to best plan for Wishes on one of the 2 nights. Question for those who have been there, done that...what's our best bet? Does the Pirate & Pal cruise operate those days? How about the Tomorrowland Dessert Party? Do they have FP for Wishes, or are those dates blacked out? Or should we plan on watching from the Poly beach???

I am wondering the same thing. This will be our first time there for 4th of July.

I am just wondering if you might get more/better answers on another board, like make the Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies board?

I did the Wishes Dessert Party last year on July 4 and I have to say that was one of the best moves I ever made. The fact that I didn't have to camp for ~2 hours for a spot to see the fireworks, had a chair to sit in, and of course food and beverages made the evening wonderful. Also, last year on July 4 it rained for about 1-2 hours before the fireworks...we were under cover. While I can't say you will get your moneys worth on the desserts you will get it in the chair and lack of craziness around you. Well worth it. All that being said...if you can get this experience. I called daily for weeks trying to get it and it just so happened that someone must have canceled and I got a spot.

Also something to consider...check the fireworks schedule for MK and EC for 7/3-5. Sometimes EC will have their July 4 show twice and it is worth seeing on the night you won't see MK.
