help with signing in & refreshing boards

I sometimes have to sign in several times a day, I do have my cookies turned on in my profile. This just started happening in the past week. Also, when I log onto the site, the boards are a couple of days old, I have to continually click Refresh to get them up to date...What is going on? These things never have happened to me before.

oh and when I come back to the DIS page after surfing other web sites...it keeps logging me on as another DIS member...the same one...Melissamoo, what is that all about????

It sounds like you have more than one problem.

1) You may have to change a setting to have your browser check for page updates on every visit to a page ("settings" button on the "general" tab in the internet options window for IE)

2) I would manualy clear your cookies out so they can be re-set by the boards

Since you share a range of IP addresses with other users, that could have the boards mixed up if your PC isn't refreshing cookies correctly
